+ -1 moreThe work was done as anticipated and in a reasonable time frame with only the expected residual impact,--some tire tracks in the soft ground. But if course you need a bucket rig to take down a big oak. Trimrite is a family operation consisting of the owner, Raymond Munson, and a very small staff. Mr. Munson clearly knows and loves trees and was very professional in explaining just what, how, and why they would do what they did. We would definitely use this company again without hesitation.
Description of Work: We had a large oak tree damaged by lightning in 2011 and called several tree service contractors. Some never reposnded, one said he would give an estimate but never showed, one gave an estimate that seemed very high and had confusing pricing options. My insurance agent suggested Trimrite Tree Service, as they had had good experiences with the company. Trimrite did respond, provided a estimate for removing the oak tree and thoroughy evaluated other trees around our house and pointed out some potential upcoming problems. We accepted the proposal for removing the tree, grinding that stump plus two oihers, and trimming another tree.
