+ -1 moreThey're quote was too high. We got recommendations from people we knew about another company and went on Angie's List to look at them and they were considered to be a very good company so we went with them. When we called them for the estimate they were very responsive.

+ -1 moreOverall the job went very well indeed. My wife and I were pleased with the professionalism of Joe Brainerd and his assistant Jake. What initally stood out for us was that Joe returned phone calls, kept his appointments, and clearly outlined what was going to happen, if/when he got the job. During the construction, he continued to keep us informed, explaining his plans and how they might impact us. While onsite, he listened, and responded, to all our questions and concerns. When I asked for an something additional to be done, it was done without any complaint. At the end of eash day, the job site was cleaned of any construction debris.
Description of Work: Added 3 windows to our house: 2 triple casement and 1 single casement Andersen with extended jambs. This involved stripping the vinyl siding off the appropriate walls, roughing in the window areas, installing the windows after adding house wap where there was none, followed by reappication of the siding. Interior trim was cut and fitted. Then the interior of the windows and the trim were stained and varnished to as closely match the existing windows as possible. Finally the drywall was repaired where needed.
