Purchased a Mitsubishi television from this company, who advertised on Craigs List. Checking the business listings in Gaylord, MI, and finding him listed there, we proceeded with the purchase. TV was brought to our home and upon removing from packing box was found to have a scratched screen. Business owner said it had arrived with a broken mirror, which he had replaced and did not notice the scratch, but would order a new screen and bring it out to replace within a week. After two , four and five weeks of contacting him to inquire about the replacement, each time he had any number of excuses for the delay. We contacted Mitsubishi to ask about the warranty, they were unaware of this company or the owner and said he is not a registered dealer. We then drove to the physical location of the business address, it turned out to be a storage unit. Tried to contact the owner, he would not answer his phone.After several calls to Mitsubishi, they agreed to contact a certified dealer in our area to take the TV in and do all repairs under warranty. As of March 19th 2012 we now are enjoying the television and have no complaint with the Mitsubishi Company, but Total Audio Engineering is nothing more than a scam artist. Had it not been for perseverance and the customer service policies of Mitsubishi, we would have been out over $1000.
