Siding has been falling off since install in 2015 and continues to do so in 2020. Had to sue and the judge agreed it was poor workmanship and awarded us a $750 judgement but its been a 5 year nightmare. Watch out for Paul. Not sure if he really believes his bull crap or he's that good of a liar, and he has no control over his sub contractors and almost EVERYTHING is subbed out when I was told everything was done in house. He still advertises hes located on middlebelt in garden city but that office has been closed down for years so beware.

I am happy with their work which was done in a timely manner. It looks great! I would recommend them.

I had to have a few projects done on my home before I put it on the market. After reviewing different companies I went with Choice Home Improvements. I’m so happy I did. I can’t say enough good things about them. Paul and his team were not your typical contractors. My wants and needs were listened to and I was given additional suggestions that I appreciated. All of the work was finished in a timely manner. The work was outstanding and so was the price.

The project went very smoothly and quick. The crew worked as a real team with each member contributing as needed. The final results was a job well done and a beautiful home.

Rep came out gave me a price and I paid a down payment. After a month still, no word on when the work would start and no permits were pulled. After another week and no contact, I canceled the job. They did return the deposit...

justin is one of the sons in the business he is the service provider and coordinates the job .i was referred to choice/justin via dawn at begonia brothers in northville. this came about after i was forced to fire another landscaper(also on angies list) who was grossly unprofessional , zero follow up or communication among a host of other issues. once i recieved the referral from dawn at begonia bros. everything changed, justin came to my home the same afternoon i called. further, justin and ktle came out 2 days before the actual start day to do my lawn aeration between rains. this is service at its best and a great example of one business helping another. i would defintley hire them again should the need arise. in any business things happen, however, having timely communication(24-48) hours, backup plans where possible these are the expectations i have having worked for fortune 500 companies in my career . well done!!

Choice Home Improvement did a fabulous job our our roof. We needed an entire re-roof and tear off and they had the most competitive bid and the job included everything. They did the entire job in one day and had a great crew that left the site cleaner then when they got there. Justin is a great guy to work with and the work was done with high quality. I'd highly recommend Choice Home Improvement based on our experience!

Choice Home Improvement put a new roof on my home. They did a fantastic job. They started the job when they they said they would and finished ahead of schedule. I quoted several companies and they were extremely competitive. I had a few minor punch list items and they came back out the day I called them! You don't see that with most companies. I would definitely use them for other home improvement projects and recommend them to friends.

Fantastic quality craftsmanship. The workers listened well to my wants and the job turned out the best in the sub.

Choice Home improvement came to my rental house and provided a quick and reasonable quote of the repair work to be performed and provided a reasonable price then provided the gutter repair in a very time effective manner I would recommend Choice home-improvement to anyone

Choice home improvement did a great job on my bathroom and the job was priced fairly the workers were very nice and respect.And I plan on getting more work in the future.I love my bathroom and choice home improvement.

When the crew came out, they greeted me nicely, set up their supplies and went right to work. They had no problem moving the furniture at all, which was very respectful and helpful, also they tapered down the floors and everything that could have got paint on, I was very surprised, other companies I have dealt with over time at previous homes, had expected me to set everything up. So, I really appreciated that. They also did a wonderful job, and I will use Choice again for any other services I need done in the future.

Telemarketing was very nice and helpful. Estimator was honest and polite, also helpful in a design. Crew keep area clean.

I would not recommend and would advise not to use. I hired them to do a porch repair and it was a nightmare w/shoddy work that I had to argue to get fixed, I had a door blocked in w/cement blocks. The next step was for the crew to fill in behind the door, then pour cement. I had to stop them from doing this as you could literally see between the mortar on the cement blocks they installed. If you do end up using them, make sure every little detail is in the quote it appears their favorite saying "is it in the quote". In my case, the quote said "replace porch rails" to them that did not mean the porch steps, while they eventually did replace them. It was a discussion that should not have had to happen. The crew also knocked off several stones from my stone-faced wall while repairing my porch. The first thing out of Choice Home Improvements project manager was "it doesn't say in the quote that we are responsible for damages". Again, they did repair but not worth hassle and aggravation. .Finally, back to the porch rails, we were sold by the sample that was shown to us that were heavy aluminum white powder coated welded rails. The crap that they installed was light weight, spray painted, and welded horribly. Some of the rails are only partially welded on and are pitted w/holes from being burned in the welding process. As the quote only said white aluminum rails, did not state sizes, we had no recourse but to accept. 12/14 To clarify the providers responses - As the work progressed, an issue was found with the support of the house. This happens with old houses. Choice suggested lifting the house and installing a new beam. I asked for a quote as they were already working on the house. When I found the quote specifically stated that Choice would not be responsible for any damages caused by installing the new beam. Choice was adamant that my homeowner's would cover any damages, which per my insurance agency is not true. I declined the service and found a company that stood by their work and had their own insurance to cover any damages. Regarding the additional stonework, Choices work crew knocked out 5-7 stones on the facade of my house, so it was not "extra work" but a repair of damages caused by the choice crew. I stand by the statement not to use this company.

It went great! They were on time and did everything they said they will do. And it was a great experience dealing with them.

They told me that they would have to replace the whole thing and were unable to repair it. I asked for written estimates and have yet to receive any since they came out almost a month ago.

the company acted in good faith was trust worthy and always responded to any change or questions we had during the entire process which started in the 4th quarter 2014 and completed in May 2015. There was a lot of storm damage to the house and they took care of the immediate needs before winter started and finished as the weather improved in 2015.

Friday, 4/10/15 came and no one showed up at 10:00 am as agreed upon. I called the number for Mr. Lockhart, left a voicemail message to call me. No response. About 15-30 minutes later I called again, left voicemail message. Again, no response. To date, 4/19/15 I have not heard from Choice Home Improvement.

I wanted the warmest possible windows for our 1941 bungalow. We went with vinyl because some windows had already been replaced. The company did a very good job. Everyone, from salesman to worker, could not have been nicer. The price was better than the same windows from Wallside.

We moved into our new house in February 1992. Twenty years had taken a toll the house. We had roof leaks, requiring emergency roof repairs and inside water damage repairs, mostly during the winter. It was easy to see the wood chips and glue siding had extensive water damage and rotting. We started out in January 2014 with a new roof. I was surprised that outside work could be done year around, with a little patience for weather. Toward the end of summer, we started the siding, trim painting and gutters project. The management of the project was handled expertly. The siding team came in and did one face of the house at a time to account for weather. We had JamesHardie planksiding installed. The siding team also replaced any rotted boards and removed the old gutters, so we were ready for the trim painting team next. With a fresh coat of paint on the trim, the project was finished when the new gutters were installed. When issues arose they were addressed quickly and with great satisfaction. We also slipped in a project for new insulated garage doors at the same time the gutters were being installed. I would recommend Choice Home Improvement to family and friends. Our next projects will be a new front door and some concrete work in the spring.

The garage turned out great very happy with the way it looks. Choice Home Improvement isn't one of the fastest companies but fast isn't always better as I found out from the first add on I did. Choice will do it right the first time. If I had it to do all over again yes I would hire them again, the job turned out better than I was thinking it would.

He was very nice and very knowledgeable, but at that time, he wouldn't go up on the roof or give me an estimate unless I signed with him if we ended up having it done, so I didn't go with him.
