My initial call was answered by a gentleman who ended up being the person who came for my refrigerator repair. He was professional and polite. HOWEVER, my second call was answered by a woman, who, had SHE been the one answering my initial call, I would have hung up and gone on to the next company repair shop. She was incredibly rude and would not have gotten my business. Repair man was awesome, receptionist - not so awesome. She is probably losing them plenty of business.

Very well and he had the parts with him to do the job.

They usually don't work on ice markers but went ahead and did it for me. I will continue to use them.

I've used Carmack for my appliance repair for many years and they have always been professional, courteous, and fully able to meet the challenge of the needed repair.

It went well. At first the technician thought the dryer needed a new motor and he quoted me a reasonable price for that. I initially declined thinking that it would better to purchase a brand new dryer rather than fixing an old one. However, after checking prices for new dryers, I decided to have the old one repaired. The same technician came back a few days later. As it turned out, the motor didn't need to be replaced. There was a piece of fabric wrapped around the blower wheel that was causing the problem. He removed the fabric. He also replaced a belt and idler pulley. The technician was polite and professional. And even though he made two trips to my house, he only charged me one trip charge.

Excellent ! I called in for a repair and Shawn ( the owner ) was out the next day. Determined the stove needed a new burner. He was back in two days. Not only did he install the part, he completely cleaned under my glass top. Not an area I would even know how to get to. The person I spoke to at the store was very pleasant. The repairmen are on time. Shawn usually comes out, but I have had other repairmen as well. Always do a great job. I have used Carmack for repairs, bought appliances from them when they sold them and parts as well. This is a wonderful family owned company. I wouldn't consider calling anyone else.

Went very well - dryer is about l0 years old and he explained that things start going wrong at this point and instead of putting a lot of money into the dryer to just use the standard 40 min cycle instead of using the other cycles on the machine. Had been working great since following his advice. Hopefully it will last for a couple more years. Have dealt with Carmack for many years and have never had a problem with them! Highly recommend!

It went great. Andy came and diagnosed the problem which was a circuit board. He called the office and had them order the part. He then came back in a week and installed it in our fridge. He was on time for both appointments and was very professional. I will definitely use Carmack again for my appliance repairs.

The stove is 9 years old, so he had to order the part. Came the following Monday to install it. He called ahead of time to make the appointment and came on time. Everything went well and he knew what he was doing. Very friendly repairman named Jim, very polite. He checked our microwave also because the turntable wouldn't work anymore, and he told us it was not worth repairing and that we should just buy a new one. He was honest. Will definitely call them again if in need of anymore appliance repair. Thanks for the recommendation, Angie!

The Carmack tech gave us excellent information and recommendations. He thought the noise might be the transmission (probably too costly to repair) but also checked out the pump, which occasionally causes a similar noise. Turned out that the pump was the problem and could be easily fixed for a reasonable amount of money. He replaced the pump, and the washer is working great.

They did a great job trying to fix my dryer. They came back 2 more times. It was obvious that I needed a new dryer. AAA for effort. Very courteous and on time. Will use again if I need them!!!

Office staff was helpful and friendly. Andy called that morning as promised to give me a 2-hour time window and arrived on time. I described the problem, and he fixed it in no time. He was great at fully explaining the problem and the fix. He answered all of my questions in helpful detail. The dryer now works great and is very quiet.

After our dishwasher stopped working we called the manufacturer - Maytag. It was out of warranty and they recommended Carmack. We made an appointment. The repair person was prompt, polite, courtious and professional. The problem was a loose wire from the installation. It was promptly fixed and tested. We were charged what they had quoted as the minimum for a service call. If we ever have any appliance issues in the future Carmack will be at the top of the list.

In this instance, I actually did not use Carmack Appliance Repair, although I have in the past. My refridgerator stopped working, and after calling them, they advised me on how much it might cost, and considering the age of the unit, to just replace the refridgerator, which I did. I appreciate the honesty.

They came out when they said they would. The dryer was soon fixed, and it cost me way less than it would have to replace it.

Technician came out one week and was unable to repair it. Came back on listed date and installed new igniter. Neither of us is sure if this will continue to work. It ignited 98% of the time but I was assured if it quit on me again they would be out to fix it with no charge. This is much better than previous company (Kenwhirl) who came out January 11, 2012 and replaced regulator for a total cost of $205 and which they assured me took care of the problem. Eight months later when same burner would not ignite and I called them I was told the part was only covered for 90 days unless I took out insurance. This cook top has been in this house for 25 years (Jennair) and worked for as long. Now after 8 months the replacement part quits and I'm responsible for cost? One should also know that I don't cook much so if I say I've used the cook top 10 times since end of January I'm probably over-estimating.

We were satisfied with the service and the price seemed appropriate. We haven't had a problem since then. They came when they said they were going to come. He originally quoted a different price that was a little lower but when he looked up our refrigerator it was a little bit more.

The owner of the firm was the one that came out and he was able to finish the work in one visit. He did not have to go back to his shop to get pieces as he knew his line of work extremely well. The price was very good.

I had a good experience with Carmack Appliance. They came out within 48 hours. The guy that came out was clean and respectable. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and fixed it. We were moving, and we didn't want to have to add an extra expense. He told us he believed it was one problem, but there was a slight chance it could have been another problem. He said if we had anymore problems with the dryer to give him a call and he would swing by and fix it without charging us another service charge. It was the problem that he thought, because we haven't had another problem with the dryer since.

Have been dealing with this company for 30 years, the most honest guys you will ever meet, the best company to deal with.
