Description of Work: I wanted trees removed at a busy time of year, so I did have to wait before they could get to me. The crew wound up working in near 100 degree heat. They did an efficient job taking out two trees and trimming back overhanging branches from above my driveway and garage. They also did a good job cleaning up.

Description of Work: Tree removal (10) and stump grinding. After 2 other services failed to follow up on contracting with me for this work (& a month's delay), I found Andrew Tree Service on Angie's List. Jason immediately called me back after I entered my contact info in AL. We scheduled an appointment & he arrived on time. He was completely affable & listened to my requests and made good suggestions. (He spotted an ongoing ant problem with an unrelated tree to the proposed work & suggested a remedy which worked.) The contract was for the removal of 10 trees and grinding their stumps. Three small buckthorn scrub trees, 5 dying spruce/pine trees, & 2 large old apple trees. Most of these were near the side property line underneath power/cable lines. They had to work around the lines, a telephone pole, a portion of fencing, a steep slope, the neighbor's yard, a whole row of various larger trees immediately adjacent, and a bed of ferns. The price was within expectation, but the added 25% coupon from Angie's List was a huge bonus. I accepted their bid. Knowing how anxious I was for work to begin, Jason gave me a reasonable estimated date then called later with an even earlier date & I was thrilled. [*DISCLAIMER* When I told Jason about our plans to landscape this area, he suggested Serene Surroundings. I'd heard their name, but couldn't place it immediately. Later, I found out my husband has used that company through his work & that Serene had used Andrew Tree Service]. The 6-man crew arrived right on time, assessed the situation, made a plan, set up their equipment, listened to my request to add a few smaller stumps to the grinding work & trim up a nearby tree to let more light onto the future landscaping bed. All six men got to work quickly & before I even had my camera out they had removed the 3 scrub tree & were moving on to the others. It was fascinating to watch as they trimmed up the trunks & then dropped them in various ways to avoid all the obstacles. Their work was efficient, fast, & thorough. They did a few extras at my request & they were all easy to talk to. They did above expectations regarding the stump grinding. Cleanup was very good. All of this was accomplished in less than 3 hours. I would recommend Andrew Tree Service to anyone.

Description of Work: Andrew Tree Service removed a LARGE TREE in my back yard which has coused great concern for myself and my neighbor regarding falling LARGE LIMBS. Andrew Tree Service came with his crew and they climbed the tree rather bringing in machienery to remove branches, then cut down the tree and removed it all the way up to the ground. When the crew started to work, they never stopped for rain, cold or lunch until the job was completed and cleaned up the area and removed the wood. i am impressed and would recoment this company without hesitation to ANYONE needing this type of service. NUMBER "A" all the way.

Description of Work: I HAD A LARGE MULBERRY TREE THAT HAD TO GO. THEY WERE ONE OF 3 COMPANIES THAT I RECEIVED QUOTES FROM. JASON CAME OUT VERY QUICKLY AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE THAT WAS AT LEAST $100.00 LESS THAN THE OTHERS. IT WAS A LARGE TREE THAT HAD BRANCHES HANGING OVER ONE NEIGHBORS GARAGE AND BRANCHES WRAPPED AROUND ANOTHER NEIGHBORS ELECTRICAL WIRES.THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME OUT BETWEEN 2:00 AND 4:00 BUT WERE THERE BY 1:00 AND WITH AT LEAST 2 GUYS IN EACH YARD COORDINATING CLEAN UP AND REMOVAL THEY WERE DONE BY 3:30. I HAD TOLD THE NEIGHBORS TO LET ME KNOW IF THE CLEAN UP WAS NOT SATISFACTORY BUT THEY SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE. OVERALL 2 THUMBS UP

Description of Work: The cut down a big limb that was rubbing against my garage.

Description of Work: Trimmed my trees and bushes on my 85x130 ft. lot. Did a great job and they look really good. Reasonable price for all that they did. Cleaned all up and no problems at all. We were not even home. I'd certainly use them again.
