Excellent service and informative. Helpful thru the entire process. They were fast and did quality work.

The crew arrived about 2 p.m. on the Sunday before Memorial Day, cranked up their music and began working. At 10 pm we had to ask them to turn off their music because we have close neighbors which they did. They continued working another 1 1\2hours (They wanted to finish and not work on Memorial Day). The stack above the furnace leaked from the beginning but we didn't know until the drywall from the ceiling began to bubble up and leak. Mike came out, didn't knock on the door and left before we could speak to him. After a week he still hasn't fixed the leaking skylight or addressed the damage inside the house.

Mike came right out and gave me a quote and once I made a decision to go with his company he was out within a few days and had the job done in one day.

They were able to do it all in one day before winter weather set in. They cleaned up the debris from the tear off. I feel it went very well.

Work was done quickly and for a good price. Would hire again and would recommend to others.

We have used Michael Hayes Roofing several times and have always been very pleased. The owner is professional and curtious and has always come out to the job himself and inspect the completed work. Each job was done in a timely manner and they left our premises neat and clean. I would definitely recommend them for any roofing job - large or small.

Mike called me back, but was in transit. He was not able to write information down and had me repeat information several times. He was not prepared. I explained the job and he agreed to go by when he was in the area to give an estimate. He agreed to give a half hour notice, but when I arrived he wasn't there. He was early by 20 minutes and did not wait. He did not call me. I called to see if I had missed him already and he said he was too busy to accept the work. I found the whole experience lacking in professionalism.

Mike, the owner, came out with his son and his crew. Before they started the job, I wanted to make sure that I was there when they were working and I asked Mike to let me know ahead of time. I was expecting a call the day before, but when I got the call, Mike had said that they were already on the roof working. I live about an hour away, so by the time I got there, they were about 3/4s already done. The over all roofing job was good. This was an A frame roof and the overlap of the shingles and the spacing of the shingles were well done. I am definitely satisfied with the work, but there was a side of the roof that I was worried about due to it being faced into predominant wind. When I mentioned to them, that I would like for that side of the roof to be sealed due to the weather, Mike mentioned that he had been in business for over 30 years and he never seals the roof, he always just adds more nails. After the job, I mentioned this concern to his son, who got back up on the roof and actually pulled up on the shingles and they were able to come up about half an inch. The son even agreed with me about this concern and told me that he could just lay down a bead of caulking to seal it. I told him that's all I wanted. He went to the van and came back informing me that he did not have any caulking and that he would come back tomorrow do to this. He mentioned that it would take no time at all. He left without getting the payment check and I didn't think about giving it to him. After he left, I was finding some nails around the yard, so I called back up to their office and spoke to Mike. I told him that when his son comes out to do the bead of caulking in the morning, to also bring the magnet to do another round to make sure all the nails are up. During this conversation, I feel as though Mike was not very professional. He implied that he was having issues with trusting customers. That he doesn't expect a down payment or sign a contract for the work. He told me that I was withholding $2900.00 for a $2 tube of caulking, that would take about 10 minutes to do. I told Mike that I had the check filled out and signed, and his son left the location without asked for it and that I didn't think to give it to him before he left, because I could just give it to him tomorrow. I told him that if was going to be such a problem that I would just do it myself. Mike then told me that he was going to send his son out on another job and that Mike personally would be out to do that tomorrow. When I asked him what time he would be out, he told me early; he told me he would be here at about 6:30am and I told him I would be there too. Mike then told me that he would be out personally to do this "for me," even though he never does this caulking work for anyone and he has been in business for over 30 years and only just lays down nails without any troubles. Well I made sure to arrive at the location before Mike got here this morning and about an hour and 15 minutes passed and Mike never showed up, nor did he give me a call to let me know if he wasn't going to make it or as to why he was going to be late.
