I will have to let you know. Chris Wenzlick has yet to deliver anything, months past when he promised. When things fall through, he does not keep you informed and calls are only inconsistently returned. He is pleasant when I speak with him, but there's no excuse for this situation. If you do deal with him, don't pay a penny up front unless he puts in writing that it will be completed by a reasonable date, and hold him to it!
Description of Work: Chris Wenzlick came out to my home after I visited his showroom in Flushing, Michigan to see a product he offers which encloses porches to protect against rain. This was in December, 2012. When he came to my home, he assured me after I gave him half the total amount, a 4,000 dollars that the project would be completed in one day, after a five week waiting period for the panels to be made off site. He assured me that his company works through the winter. I never heard from him again until I called at the beginning of April, four months later. I called his office twice and he did not return my calls. I finally got his cell phone number, and he set up a date of April 17 to come out, with the agreement that he would call me to confirm the day before. I did not hear from him, so again I called him. Someone else in the office said he was out of the office doing an estimate, but would call me back that evening, as he was supposed to return in 30 minutes. I asked the person who answered the phone to look on the company schedule to see if I was on it for the next day. No, he said, I was not. Chris did not return my call when he returned to the office, and did not show up the next day either. The next day I called him again, and when he returned my call, he said he had not called because, "We're way behind because of the rain and I had to take my granddaughter to school. Things are crazy here." We set up a new date, April 23, with the agreement that he would again call the day before to confirm. He did, indeed call, as he said he would. This time he said he could not come because all the window panels were in, however they were all the wrong size and could not be installed. He said the company that manufactures them made them wrong, although "this has never happened before." I said, "But you assured me everything was in last week!" "Well, I know, the boxes were here, but no one bothered to open them up to check them until today. I hope I got you in time before you took a day off work." He said he, personally would drive to the out of state factory to pick them up on April 29, when the factory said they could be ready, and then call me back to arrange installment. It is now May 1st, and I have heard nothing from him. Chris is inconsistent about returning calls, if he delivers or not remains to be seen, but even if so, it is months beyond when he stated he would be done with a single day job. I am very disappointed to say the least, and unfortunately, am beginning to think I will be seeing him in court. It's an 80 degree week, and a project paid for back in December renders my deck unusable as all the furniture is piled up so as to be out of his way. He ended our last conversation with, "We are a much better company than it seems." Sorry, but based on my experience, I'd have to disagree. Even if this has never happened before, as he assures me, which I have no way of knowing, Angie's List is about personal experience, and now you know mine.
