This is the way to run a business. Called Mr. Werth and within 20 min. he was at my house doing an extensive assessment of my roof. He addressed all my concerns and gave me a quote that I thought was fair and in 2 weeks the job was completed. The guys were on time and were all work and no play, meaning no goofing around. They took great care around my air conditioner and landscaping. The clean up was perfect, it looked like no one had been here. Like I mentioned earlier this is the way to run a business, do the job and do it right. Highest respects for Werth roofing and siding.

Excellent! As with the last job Norm did for me (roof/shingles,etc.), this job, from start to finish, was extremely professional, timely, thoroughly explained to me (before, during, and after). Price was reasonable, and completed job was well worth it! A small error was noted on the steps on one side; Norm had his men fix it within one day! Norm Werth is not only very professional, but also a very kind and personable man who is very easy and pleasant to work with, for any job you might have!

They did a excellent job. Had some rotted boards that they replaced and added one more down spout at no charge.

The whole job took only about 5 hours. Norm, who was the owner, was very helpful and professional. He gave a very fair and reasonable quote. The crew was very professional and did a great job of cleaning up when the job was done.

Norm was a gentleman from beginning to end. He answered all my questions when we reviewed his estimate. Norm was calm, polite and matter-of-fact. There was no sales pressure or drama. His estimate was right on with the other roofers. The reroofing went as planned. The roofing crew were all hard workers that did a great job, and were professional about it. They cleaned up everything and left only a new roof behind. Highly recommended.

I got them from Angie's List. The initial cost was supposed to be $1750 but I had some damaged wood up there so they had to replace the board so it cost me almost $2300. Mr. Werth came out and he was very professional. He seemed like he was very competent with what was going on and he was very organized. Everything was good and their workers were good. They were out here on time early in the morning and I thought they did a good job. Everything is good so far. It cost me a little more than I wanted but then it was because of the damaged wood that I had up there. As far as I can tell it looks like it was a good job.

This is my opinion and perspective: Werth Roofing seems to have staff manning the phones at all times during business hours. There was never a time when I called when someone didn't answer. Once your call is taken, your questions/requests are forwarded to Mr. Norm Werth and he promptly returns your call (same day, unless you call right at closing, then the next morning). My wife and I found Norm to be consistently professional, and there wasn't a roofing question that I had which he couldn't answer. It became obvious he has been in the business for some time. We chose Werth Roofing for these reasons: 1. They are local. 2. We've read and heard one too many roofing horror stories. 3. They have a good reputation as shown by the long list of solid recommendations here on Angie's List. 4. After meeting Norm, my wife and I felt he was trustworthy. 5. They install CertainTeed Landmark shingles (a "best buy" according to Consumer Reports) 6. Their quote was reasonable, and actually lower than we were expecting. Despite everyone and their brother pushing us to get multiple quotes, we liked Norm and we liked the quote, so there was no value in us expending more time with additional quotes, call-backs, etc. We took our time picking out the color of shingles we wanted. We even went so far to purchase the "Colorview" package from CertainTeed's website for $15, which we do not recommend as the rendering wasn't very accurate and didn't help us in making a decision. Our recommendation: ask Norm to bring some roofing sample boards; that's how we ultimately made our decision. Norm also gave us some addresses where they had completed roofs so we could get a real-world idea of how the shingles looked. Norm made two trips to the house before work began: once for an estimate, and a second time to decide on shingles, assess the black mold via the attic access, answer questions about roof venting, and close the deal. We talked on the phone a couple of times between those visits. Norm found the moldy OSB to be structurally sound and advised against replacement, but I wanted them replaced, so he added them to the quote. Norm advised us they were busy and it would be a few weeks before they could begin. A couple days before work began, Norm called to advise us that they would be dropping off the materials on Friday, and beginning work on Monday. Norm's team; Mike, Matt, and Zach, got started around 6:30 a.m. on Monday to beat the heat for as long as possible. I was surprised at the progress they had made by 2:00 p.m., at which time they called it a day to keep from being cooked to a crisp. They started about the same time the next day, and were finishing the cleanup by 3:00 the next day; they have a system. A section is removed, then that section is replaced with new shingles. This minimizes the need to cover the roof should it begin to rain. It did not rain during this work, but we had no worries about the weather with their methodology. It's been a few weeks; so far, so good. I've climbed into the attic following a few good rainstorms and could find no evidence of leaks or other problems. The ridge venting was done right (could see filtered daylight through the entire length of the roof peak). I'm not a roofing expert, but the fit, finish, trim and edges appear to be well done (straight cuts, level, etc.). I even climbed onto the roof and spot-checked three shingles in different areas to see if any nails were blown right through the shingle material; all checked good. Nail spacing seemed good; no skimping. So far, two neighbors have stopped to comment on how nice the roof looks. The Landmark shingles we purchased were similar to the ones removed, but these shingles have more character and depth.

The best service I ever had professional, courteous and timely.

The service was excellent. I called him and the next morning he came out to take a look at the roof. That evening he came to give me an estimate, I told him to go ahead and do the job. He started the job the next day and finished that same day. They cleaned up everything, you would never know that they were there. They really knew what they were doing. All of our business was done over the phone. He did the work while I was at the hospital with my wife.

Great transaction. Norm first educated us on the products so we fealt that we understood the job. He also kept us informed on the weather delays and days they actualy worked. My neighbors even complimented them on how they worked and concerns for my property.

Put off replacing roof on storage shed in back, and last storm caused a limb to fall through the rotting roof. Norm Werth look over the job, and stated the Shed roof had to be replaced as soon as possible in order to save the shed. The job was small than he usually would perform, but Norm stated might have some workers freed up in a week or so before the winter weather set in November. The job was supposed to take several days removing roofing from shed, removing rotten wood sheeting, reinforce 2 x4 rafters with a sister 2 x4 rafter, re-sheet, re-roof, install new guttes and down spouts, and haul away rotten wood, sheeting, old gutters. To stop leak to Florida Room attached to house, Norm removed 15' water shield in valley of roof and reinstalled a 36" wide Ice and water shield in valley of roof, and re-installed new shingles in Valley . Workers showed up early Wednesday monrning and completed the job by noon on Thursday. The men were extremely nice and courterous and not only halled away the trash, but I was surpried to see them sweep out the inside of the shed from small scattered debris.

Very professional and honest estimate that was straight to the point and without a high pressure sales pitch. Norm was kind and offered the best advice for our situation. His price for a new roof is very competitive and reasonable. We feel confident he will do a great job when we are ready to proceed.

Workers were here on time.They were nice courteous young men who did their job and cleaned up afterwards. Job well done.

Norm Werth returned my call the same day I called to ask for an appointment for an estimate on the work. We set up a time and day; he was very punctual and thorough in examining my roof; climed up onto my roof to inspect everything and was very descriptive in explaining the work he would do. Detailed but simple instructions made me understand, and be very confident that he would do a professional and complete job at a very reasonable price. Before, during, and after....excellent work!! As stated, very clean, professionally done work!

This was the best contracting experience I have ever had. He was prompt, neat, kept us constantly updated, and worked with the other contractor we had working on our house. There was little to no mess during and after the job. It was done on time and quickly. Everything looks great, and he came by to make sure we were satisfied. I have already referred him to friends and would never go anywhere else for my roofing needs.

Chris & Roger were always on time and performed their job well. It was a very challenging job, as our house is over 100 yrs old. They did an awesome job! It looks like a new house! We are very happy! Also, the eaves troughs were done well too!

Crew on time said what time they would start finished 2 day early.

Norm Werth returned my phone call promptly when I first called for some information. He was very flexible in scheduling an appointment in the evening as I am not available during the day. He provided a detailed written estimate, and scheduled a second appointment to explain the estimate and answer questions. His quote was very competitive, so we made the decision to use him for the work.As far as the work, he started when he said he would, and his crew was very prompt and polite. They worked around our dog, and made sure the site was cleaned up at the end of each day. They removed the roof one section at a time, so they would never leave any of the roof uncovered in case of rain. They recommended houses we could look at in the area to help select a style and color of shingle. Norm did discover one area of the roof that had not been vented properly, so they made the needed repairs, and corrected the venting issue. We were only charged for the additional materials, no added labor. The crew went to a lot of extra trouble to make sure all the old roofing and nails were contained, and not left.I have only positive comments about my experience with Werth Roofing and Siding. I will definitely use them again if I need any of this type of work.

Mr. Werth was on time, polite, thorough, friendly. He stopped by promptly the day after we called. He carefully measured out the job and left us with a price. He was very competitive. They started in 10 days. The roofing job was done professionally in a half day. There was no fuss, no muss. His crew was friendly and polite. They hardly stopped to take a breath. There was a monor issue with trim, but they returned in two days to correct it completely. The gutters were done the following weeek, They are beautiful. The entire job is impressive. I would hardly recommend Mr. Werth for your home improvement.

We contacted Norm to provide an estimate. My husband was so impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and punctuality, that he hired him on the spot. Since I was not there to pick out the color, Norm returned the next day to bring his samples back and assisted me with picking a color. He answered additional questions I had. He gave an estimated date for about 3 weeks out, but would call with a couple of days notice before the job was to commence. Norm was able to get our roof scheduled within about a week and the call was received with notice as promised. Norm's crew was punctual, starting by 8 am. The roofing alone was estimated to take two days, but his crew finished it in one. They continually cleaned up the site, keeping it debris free. The gutter screens were scheduled for completion the next day. Since Norm's crew finished ahead of schedule, the gutter screens could be installed early the next day. Norm returned to the site both days to inspect the quality of the work. The roof looks great! We are completely satisfied with Norm and his crew. We would use his services again if needed and will definitely refer him to others (in fact, we already have).

We got Werth's roofing off Angies list and we were more than happy with the results. Norm came out for an estimate and was very professional and explained everything we needed and what to expect once the roofing was removed. He was spot on in estimateing what we would need. The crew showed up as planned and did a wonderful job. There were no expenses we did not expect before hand. Before they left they made sure we understood all they did and was satisfied with the workmanship, they cleaned up everything around the house. Then Norm came out to make sure evrything was satisfactory. I will reccomend them to everyone
