Overall it wasn't bad, but I definitely expected more for 330.00 the two gentlemen were very friendly and polite, however, they weren't very communicative. Being my first time having carpet professionally cleaned. There were some problem areas that now after a couple days of the carpet being dry, I can still smell pet urine. I specifically pointed out all areas of concern. It was only a few. The pet spots when my son's Dad had brought his dog over, and he marked his territory in the bedroom. Now that the carpet is dry a few days later, it still smells of urine. I'm not happy about that. Mostly because overall, my carpet wasn't dirty. I had it cleaned for my son's allergies, and those few pet spots. I just feel for the money I spent, I expected much more then still having urine smell from the carpet. They did however get the spot of green slime out of the carpet in my son's bedroom. That was amazing! They were leaving and he told me nit to move the furniture for 24 hrs, de to the carpet still being wet, and the wpod can bleed onto the wet carpet. I was told from the representative on the phone when I made the carpet cleaning appointment that the cleaning technicians would put furniture covers has on all of the furniture to be placed back safely for that reason. The only thing they put furniture covers on with my son's bad when they put his butt back down oh, that is it. I actually had to ask the technician for the furniture covers for my coffee table and end tables in the living room and my night stands up in my bedroom. Had it not been for me asking, I wasn't going to get any of those. Even though I was told by the representative that I would be given all those. So it wasn't a terrible experience, but the first time having them out with all the good reviews they have gotten, I was expecting a lot more in return. I feel.i will probably address the urine spots with the manager. Idk if I would go with them again. All depends what happens when I call the manager. Mistakes happen, what matters is how they're handled. Again, for almost 350 dollars, I shouldn't still smell urine in the carpet in a couple spots.

Got an online quote and that was what we paid. Did a great job and explained what was going on through the whole process. Very reasonable prices and would hire again.

I tryed contacting this company and they did not get back with me. I called and left a message for them to call me back. i also e-mail them to contact me and they did not contact me at all.

The worker arrived on time and was punctual. He did not pretreat the carpet or furniture. He cleaned the carpets and they turned out just okay. My complaint is the poor job on the furniture. He told he before he started he couldn't get the spots off of the couch and loveseat. He said that type of chair holds on to the dirt. I was surprised because I have been able to clean them without any problem. He worked on the furniture for quite some time. When he finished he said he thought they turned out fine. It looked like he hadn't done anything. I don't know why I paid so much money for my furniture to look so bad. After he left, I used my furniture cleaner and scrubbed the foot rest. I was able to get all of the dirt off. My cleaning rag was filthy. I am very disappointed. I wrote to them on that day on their feedback page to complain about the service. I did not hear back. About a week later, I called to talk to someone regarding the poor service. The person answering the phone was very nice and apologetic. She said a manager would call me back right away. I never received a call. After two attempts to clear this up, I think they deserve this negative review. UPDATE: I am revising my review because Modernistic Cleaning contacted me and apologized for the poor work quality. They do not accept poor quality in their business. Therefore, they refunded my money for the upholstery cleaning. That is a good business who will stand behind the quality of their work. I improved their rating to reflect this.

I chose Modernistic based on their website claims for stain removal and carpet restoration. The Carpet Cleaners showed up on time and were very professional in appearance and manner. They got right to work and finished in about an hour. The carpet was stained in several places due to the previous owners pets. The disappointment came when it was observed that no pre-vacuuming was done, no pre-treating of the stains, and none of the stains were removed. All that was done was a wetting and extraction. The carpet looked better overall but all the stains remained.after the carpet was dried. I had to replace the carpet after all.

Employees were 1/2 hour+ late. No courtesy call to let me know. We were the 2nd stop of the day. My foyer is marble and there hoses were leaking a little and left water on my marble floors. I asked if they could clean the water up and there response was "We do not have any dry towels sorry". I then called the franchise owner and explained my dissatisfaction with his crew and he replied I will look at your paperwork and call you in a few days. Well it's January 6th and still no call. I can only speak of Modernistic of Genessee area.

They were very prompt, professional. Did 3 rooms, we had some very bad spots and they did a great job. The 2 gentlemen were great. Would definitely use them again

I was having guests for a party, and i needed to rearrange the furniture so they could all fit. The Modernistic techs were supposed to move the furniture and clean the entire carpet, and they assured me that they had. Turns out they did NOT clean beneath, they just moved things a few inches to make it look that way. When I moved the couch later I had to clean the carpet myself until 2:00 a.m. to get ready for my guests and not be embarrassed. The furniture looked fine, but it wasn't really dirty to begin with.

We found them through local ads at the time. There was nothing in particular that stands out. They did a satisfactory job for the price we paid.

I like them. They were very knowledgeable. They were reasonable.
