So far so good, just a few weeds here and there but not as much as I had before! Tristan R. has been doing a good job so far this year.

Great don't have a mosquito on the on my lot and the greenest weed free lawn on the block had other people teat before but custom was fast to get out and slove the problem Ty Jeremiah Coates

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! 1. They destroyed our beautiful lawn. (see photos) 2. Customer service is horrible, if you can even get them to answer the phone. If you want to talk with someone higher up, Brittany(?) will say they owner will call you back. Good luck with that. We're still waiting. 3. Billing issues and overcharges, which due to the deplorable customer service, are very difficult to resolve. 4. Lastly, a little ploy they call "continuing service". It's not something they talk about up front, but I've recently learned it is printed on their statements in very small print. What it means is that they will come back, with or without your approval or knowledge, and spray your lawn and bill you. If you refuse to pay, they are more than happy to send you to collections. (We were threatened with that from the very first phone call and each call afterward. What a way to address a customer's complaint!) We hired Custom solely on the glowing reviews on Angie's List. I highly recommend looking for reviews from other places too, like Google or Yelp. After we'd been bamboozled, we started looking and were amazed to see there are so many other people who have been shafted by Custom and their "continuing service" too!!! Why a company would continue to do this to customers is beyond me as it seems to create such ill will, but they've got you over a barrel. They must know most people won't let their good credit be damaged for a small amount of money. An honest company would make sure their customers were aware of such a policy before hand.

Very happy with the work from this company. Have used the service for two years now and very happy with how much my lawn has improved.

Have had Custom Lawn Service for 3-4 years, and have decided to find another company. Price, timeliness, professionalism has all been above par; however, quality of their product leaves a little to be desired. We've noticed that the first few applications do well at killing weeds and feeding the lawn; however, as the summer goes on the quality appears to decline. They spray, but weeds are not touched. Will choose another service.

We are all set for the 2017 season. I did have some issues with them about price increases between 2016 and 2017; however, that has been resolved, and we have agreed to stay with the 2016 pricing.

It's a small and locally owned business. I've been working with them for so long I have taken them for granted. I do require them to call me before they show up. Also, they do call me to let me know when it's going to rain and to delay the application. They know my lawn and the trouble spots. In fact, I think they do complete lawn care, but I am happy with the other guy, but I also am happy with their weed and fertilization service. Some companies want to do like 10 services a year but we have been able to whittle down the applications to 4 or 5 a year.

The lawn was green all summer long with very few weeds. We did have an issue with crabgrass; however, they took care of the problem without any extra charge.

They were great! I saved money by prepaying for the season and they were very professional and my lawn looked great. They offered nice specials on other services - grub control, mosquito control, tree services, among others - but I did not purchase since I didn't see those services as necessary at the time.

I don't know exactly what happened but the the tires of the machine they use to do spreading somehow seemed to be transferring whatever they are putting down and killing the grass on the track that fit the tires. The second time they came out I called their attention. The guy that was running the machine said he didn't realize it but he'll try not to have it happen again. It wasn't a massive problem and generally the grass is well so I don't have any overall complaint other than I think maybe they need to be sure what they're mixing and whatever their application is fine. I guess probably it's proportionately not right because it wouldn't be killing any grass if it was. That would be the only complaint. I don't tend to like their business practices either because of all the other literature we get trying to sell us other services and stuff that we don't want. It seems like it's constantly coming in. It seems like I don't like it, but they have done a good job for us. They are here when they want to come. They show up and do work. Their professionalism is fine. They overall do a good job, but they need to make sure that their staff is trained well in terms of what they are applying to the lawn.

Weeds don't look much different. Some of the basic broadleaf weeds were controlled (dandelions), but the harder weeds like creeping Charlie didn't get much better. The company did offer to come back out again and again if I was not satisfied, but honestly I just wanted it to do what they claimed it would without me having to continually come back. I did ask for reapplication of the pest control a few times because we had a lot of ants in our upstairs bedrooms. We were told the must have already been in the house, but they would spray again. I noticed ear wigs crawling around the foundation of the house and up on the side where they sprayed, so I'm not sure how effective their spray really is. The company was very responsive and very professional, but be prepared for calls to attempt to up-sell you on other services you did not sign up for or be asked to upgrade to a premium fertilizer.

They always come out when I call. They take care of all my questions and concerns.
