Culligan Water Conditioning of Flint MI

No reply to email I sent or any other followup, we are still waiting for some one to fix the softner and had to go purchase water to use

They just played games with me. I had a very bad experience with them, because they told me to change water softeners and put in a new one in there. It was their entire equipment. I had them for 10 years. We had rust and they would come out every month or so and put at least three bags of 50-75 pounds of salt in the system and it was every month like that. I will have to give them failing grades all the way around, because of their service as they let me down the lane and they finally told me that it was my problem because my water smelled like rotten egg. In the end it turned out that I had to have a new water softener installed and they just would not bother to come out and check the system, they just gave me the run around constantly. Regarding the system, it was not their fault, maybe I should have gone to a better grade unit and they wanted to go actually $1000 more and that is why I went with the other company. They wanted to sell me a used unit, but they never addressed the rust or the iron in the water and said that it was my fault. They actually used to deliver the salt, and I would go and pay them every month in cash or a check, but every time I had gone to their office in their closing time like about half an hour before closing, they would have everything shut down and say that they could not do anything I would have to come back another day. So that is the type of service I received from them. I rented the equipment from them and the rental was not that expensive, but over a period of time it added up. I just did not want to upgrade, like I should have, and when I asked them for an upgrade they wanted to sell me the used unit and I did not want a unit I wanted a twin tank. I just went in the office one day and asked, they gave me a price and I turned around and walked out. I used them for 10 years and thought it was a pretty good service until I started getting problems with rust and everything and they just did not follow through on anything I complained. They sent somebody out, who did a little water test. He said everything is all right, it must be that my water is too hard so they pulled the rods out of my hot water heater, which is brand new, and when I switched over to this other company I had no problems whatsoever, everything just disappeared.

Their installer arrived on time, very neatly dressed and courteous and did the extra connection at no charge. He removed the old unit and cleaned up everything before he left. The installed was only here about 2 hours and everything went smoothly. Would recommend them to anyone. He did a very nice job. I even recieved a Thank You card in the mail from my saleman. Everything was Top Notch!
