The customer service experience was lengthy. You have to take the box and the remote back. We had to drive to another city to take the TV box back. There were only 2 people working and there was a long line. We had to wait in line over an hour to return the items. The workers were nice, but they needed at least 3-4 people working. We ended up going with satellite for our TV.
Description of Work: We discontinued our Comcast TV service with them, but we still have their internet and phone.

The representative that came to install Comcast when we moved into our house was far from professional. He didn't spend a second longer in the house than he thought nessary and when I asked him if there was an ower's manual and/or a channel guide he told me no and left. He did not demonstrate anything pertaining to the remote or DVR. I called Comcast and received the run around concerning the owner's manual but did finally receive one several days later. I am very unhappy that the Comcast remote does not feature a Closed Caption option. After I called Comcast again I was given instructions to and quot;get toand quot; closed caption but sometimes it works and most times it does not and it is extraordinarly time consuming and confusing and then you must go through the same thing to get the Closed Caption turned off. The reception comes and goes exactly like satellite tv. We ordered tv, phone and internet when we signed with Comcast. We had to wait for another representative to come out to install the high speed internet. Again the agent seemed anixous to be as quick as possible. I told him how I wanted everything installed and he refused to install it the way I wanted. In order to use our phone we had to obtain a 25 foot cord and have it strung across our floor and taped down so that we wouldn't trip over it. I had to hire someone to come and install everything properly. I truly believe the Comcast agent did not want to get in the crawlspace and was too rushed to care.

They use different subcontractors, so the service is unpredictable. I would not recommend this company over a satellite provider. We have three months for service. The picture quality varies.
