Atlas Cleaning Service

I have had white Berber carpeting for 20 some years and have had just about every reputable company clean the carpet every year and sometimes twice. Three years ago I hires Atlas for the first time and will never hire anyone else. I have them do just the traffic area and they always spend close to an hour and a half each time while all others are done in less than 20 minutes. Needless to say, it looks like a new carpet every time.

The service man arrived on time, was very kind/professional/knowledgeable. He was friendly to our dog and nice to our children. He cleaned it space with great detail and precision. Each area was meticulously covered. Our stairs look completely new, I can't even believe it. I feel so much better about my children being on the floor now. We've used other companies before and they were in and out as quickly as possible, Atlas takes the time necessary to do the best possible job.

I called Atlas Cleaning Services. They scheduled me in on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I was given a time and informed that they technician would call when he was on his way. The Technician arrived early and did an outstanding job. We had two rooms clean, one of them was the Family Room, which is located in the basement and we had endured some water damaging and had "rust" colored patches on the floor. The Technician stated he was not sure if he would be able to get it clean. Once he was done, my husband and I looked at the floor and were astounded at the way the floor looked. We ill definitely be using this service again and have told others about it.

They are excellent. They are proficient and thorough.

The man that who came out was very polite and kind. He worked for quite a while on our carpets which were in rough shape. I was disappointed in how wet the carpets were when he left. They took a couple of days to dry. My daughter dropped a brand new white towel on her floor the second day and by morning it had soaked up the water from the carpet and was dirty. To me that means the water left in the carpets was not clean water. I wish I had called them back out but I didn't. I suspect if I had realized how wet they were when he finished I could have asked him to go back over them. Partly my fault for not asking.

Well the carpet is okay but I am not really happy with the company, oh well I just didn't like the guy's tone on the telephone I didn't care for the guy that came to the house, I wont have him again.

Price was quoted at 105.00 but when finished he asked for $120.00. When asked he said that even though it was less than 3 rooms his boss would want $120 for the job. I paid him and did not argue with him. He was 10 minuets late but that is not too bad. Nice man and did I think a good job. Had to use my hose and water. Which I guess was okay.

Went very well. Bruce was the the man that did the work. The carpets looked great when he was done.

I could not ask for more! Great Service! On time! Done Quickly! Carpet was not too damp and it dried out late in the evening. It looks very nice now and just in time to have the family over for a holiday dinner without me being ashamed of the pet stains. My carpet is 19 years old and light color so I did not know how long it would last. They brought it back to life again! I will use this company in the future and also recommend them to my friends and family.

Carpet was much more tired and stained in certain areas than I realized. Was not familiar with the type carpet in place in this house in two areas. The cleaning of these did not turn out as I had hoped. However, the tech and a follow-up from the owner the next week, they were able to get many of the stains out (just purchased house, so we were not sure what all the stains were). But two main problems from the 1st visit, was that the carpets were extremely wet when the tech left - especially in the basement. Tech stated that his equipment would not pull water from basement carpet as well due to the lines having to go up-the-stairs. And this tech either caused a new stain, or something occurred during cleaning. Once the carpet dried I had a perfect rectangular 'stripe' on my basement carpet. Took 2 days to dry all the carpets running dehumidifiers, central air and 2 rooms that had additional window a/c units. Upon carpet drying, we discovered the new stain - and that some areas didn't clean as we expected. Also, the main floor master was dark in color - and after cleaning, was spotty. Also, 1st tech hung the hoses from my handrail in the basement stairs. The hose vibrated and moved quite a bit, and rubbed a spot into/thru the paint where the hanger was installed. Also, corner protectors were used on one wall, leading to the basement. However, they were not put in place when the tech did the main floor work and I caught him pulling the hose on the drywall corners. Not happy about that! I called the owner/Dennis after we reviewed the carpets when dried, and he agreed to come back out and look. Their guarantee is that if not happy, they will come out again to clean. He did, and cleaned a few areas again - including the spotty master. And he worked on the new stain, and some that had not come out as well as we hoped. A+ for effort. Again, we did not have the highest expectations for some of the carpets and I feel that they were clean. But was again a bit disappointed in how much water remained in the basement carpets. Maybe if the 1st tech had paid more attention instead of being on the phone. Overall, we are satisfied. A better judgment would have come from newer carpets where I was aware of the stains and what caused them.

Atlas did an excellent job. Atlas revived the carpets were heavily stained and worn. I highly recommend Atlas.

Very happy with the results, took a longer amount of time than I had planned due to only one worker, but the value and quality were well with the wait.

We had pop stains, ink from printer stain and stain by the walk out sliding door and Atlas was able to remove them all and make the basement entertaining ready again!!

The technician was prompt, courteous and very professional, He even went the extra step to try to lift an old stain after I told him it had been there a long time and nothing could get it out. He said he has to try to get it. He did an excellent job.

The two men got to my home only a few minutes later than scheduled. They came inside and assessed what I needed to have done. They got right to work.....very professional.....and very thorough! I had no problem with feeling they might not do a good job. I would definitely use this service again!

I called Atlas and told the owner what services I needed. I got relevent information and provied some suggestions for the how to eliminate the pet problem. He gave me a cost,date and time for service. The tech called to tell me when he would arrive and ws prompt, courteous and professional. He did an excellent job of pre-treating the stains and cleaning the carpet. I am very satisfied with the service and would use them again and recommend them.

We took possession of our house on a Monday and were horrified to find it a disaster! The movers were due Thursday and the carpet was filthy. I found Atlas here on Angie's List and gave Dennis a call. Even on this short notice, he was able to shuffle schedules a bit and to my amazement, he had someone out here on Tuesday. Not only were my carpets clean before the furniture was moved in, but they also had a day of drying time! Steve, our cleaner, arrived on time and got to work immediately. He was quiet, but friendly enough. He did a very thorough job. I would hire Atlas again in a heartbeat!

I did not like their service. The person who came to clean the carpet was not friendly.

They did a great job. Carpet came out clean and smelling fresh. Set an appointment for a few days later (at my convenience), showed up promptly and were professional. Also had a competitive rate.

Though they were able to get the moldy smell off, the person who did the job was unapproachable. I am deaf and did not get a friendly greeting and left abruptly without explaining why a huge fan was left at my home. I had to call the owner. Additionally the worker smelled strongly of smoke from cigarettes and was not a pleasant experience.

He showed up on time and was friendly and did a very professional job. I was very pleased. I had tried other carpet cleaning services in the past and had bad luck. One company I called from craigslist came out with the big cleaning truck but they used a little portable carpet cleaner like they rent from the big discount stores because they said the professional industrial truck mounted cleaner was broken! I could have done just as good myself! I will use Atlas from now on and I have recommended them to my friends and neighbors. The carpet was not too wet when they finished and it dried out in a short while. I have lots of pets and they got out stains that I did not think would come out. I will use them again.

The service person (Robert) did just a great job. The chairs, which my wife and I thought were nearly un-cleanable,ended up looking very clean and presentable. The red material did not appear to lose color and they sure look a lot better.The couch was not as dirt laden but it, too, looked very good upon completion. The service person only took about an hour and a half to complete the work. He was careful not to track in snow, as there was about 5 inches on the ground. All in all we are very satisfied with the work and would definitely call Atlas again.
