The toilet valve was a compression type fitting that was installed when the house was built 17 years ago. Location was very hard to get too. The Cregger plumber was on time and was in and out in little over an hour. I would recommend and use Gregger Plumbing to anyone for plumbing needs. I was also given a discount.

We had been smelling an occasional whiff of sewage in our basement but could never find any sign of leaks, so we assumed it was caused by sewer gas getting in from an improperly vented bathroom in the basement. After we had other household waste lines replaced, the leak opened up enough to find it - the main floor toilet. (I think the vibration from cutting and grinding on the stack previous work may have caused the leak to open further, but this had clearly been going on for a while so it was not the cause of the leak.) Mark came out and quickly found the source of the leak after removing the toilet in the main floor bathroom. We had a tile floor installed a while back and when the toilet was reseated the installers used a double wax ring - and about a dozen pennies - to account for the increased height of the floor. I was worried that we would have to replace the entire waste line to the stack, but Mark was able to install a new fitting in the current line that raised the flange up to the proper height/level. He reinstalled the toilet and left my bathroom looking like nothing had ever happened. It has been over a month and there is no sign of leakage and no more funky smells in the basement! This is the second time I have used Cregger and I would definitely recommend them to others!

Cregger plumbing came out on a Sunday to clear the line because of a backup. The following day the sewer line backed up again. They were prompt and came out on Tuesday and snaked and did a video inspection of the line. They went about 60ft. Cregger guys showed me the issue which was tree roots and said the pipe going out to the street looked brittle and needed to be excavated and replaced with PVC. The cost would be $3800 or possibly more if we had to remove the tree out front. . Naturally we wanted a second opinion. Called another plumber and they came out and did a video and showed us that the pipes are good and that there was another clog 100ft out. They came in and hydrojetted the main line and cleared it out. Took another video and explained in detail of how the pipes should look and that there isn't an issue with the pipes.They also mentioned to place rootx in once a year and we should be good. The disappointing thing with Cregger is that they never followed up on whether or not I would want to do the excavating. You would think with a project that big and the amount of money it costs that they would follow up to see if we were still interested and if not, why.

First, of all the plumbers I had out to quote, Derek was the only one who actually took the time to thoroughly inspect the lines and look for what might be causing my problem (funky smells emanating from kit/bath sinks, leaking diverter in tub/shower with broken handles). He provided an itemized written estimate so that I could pick and choose exactly how much work I wanted done and what the cost of each option would be. He fully explained what I could expect from each option so I could make an informed decision on the work/pricing. I opted to have everything fixed at once, rather than do it piecemeal. Don and Tim performed the work. They did a fantastic job, going above and beyond what I had expected! Rather than simply cut a chunk out of the stack and replace it with a PVC section they could connect the new lines to, they painstakingly removed plugs from the stack that had been in place for over 70 years. This was no easy feat! Not only did they have to get the old plug out, they had to carefully grind out the rust from the threads so that the new lines could be attached and not leak. Further, when they put in the new drain lines they also installed a studder valve inside the wall so the kit/bath sinks would drain better - no extra charge. If that weren't enough they also fixed a few other little things around the house they noticed were wrong while they were working: set the level on the sump pump float to the proper height, adjusted the plunger on the bathroom sink so I don't have to fight with it to move it up/down, and tightened up the side spray nozzle on the kitchen faucet that had previously come loose so many times I gave up and just left it flopping around (it has not come loose since!). Finally, they snaked out all the drain lines without making a huge mess in the basement. They covered the washing machine which was next to the clean-out to ensure it did not get scratched or splattered, but really there wasn't any splatter anywhere that I noticed. I have seen others people's basement after having their lines snaked and believe me, this is not always the case! I expected to be doing a lot of clean up afterward and ended up doing very little. Overall I am very happy with the work performed. I would (and have) recommended this company to others! They are professional, thorough, and the quoted price is what they charge - no nickle and dime add-ons during the project.

Hot water heater was leaking from the bottom so I purchased a new one and had Creggar's install it for me. I removed the old one myself. I called on a Saturday morning and the plumber showed up around 3 pm. He was very professional, did a good job and cleaned up after himself. I would recommend them highly.

in scheduling this service i spoke with Rebecca and i picked the 30th for service between 8am and 12pm never showed and when i got back to my office i looked at my schedule with my assistant and confirmed it was today. i scheduled 2 other service appointment (not Angie's) and they were on time. so needless to say i would like my money back and i want this posted on your site.

Everything went well and they were on time.

It appears the plumber that was sent didn't have the knowledge or experience of the plumber who is here today from another company.

They were here within 24 hours! Jimmy was wonderful! Kept us up on all aspects of the visit! Very polite & helpful too! Camera went down, so we rescheduled. Tim came a few days later(rescheduled to fit around my hip replacement surgery) and ran the camera thru the drains & found the problem! Very helpful & polite also! He let us video the process(w/our cell phone, so we now have proof of the problem! Highly recommending Cregger's to all our family & friend! Wonderful company!

Jobs completed are fully functional a week later. No idea by which to estimate value for work done.

I apologize for the mixup. This was supposed to be deleted before it ever got here. I don't know how to get rid of it now.

They came out today and wanted another $150 to do the work. They said I'd still have to hire an electrician to do the wiring so I cancelled the deal.

They solved the leak, but with our bathroom equipment being old, it's leaking again (a year later). It's no fault of theirs though! We still have a $75 credit balance as we were charged only a portion of our $111 coupon purchase.

Arrived on time were friendly and explained what they were going to do and asked if we had any questions or concerns. Completed the job in 2 days. Would use this company again.

He came in and did the work and it worked out very well.

My nanny opened the door for the technician and I was not there at all. It seems went well.

The plumber (Anthony) was very professional and knowledgeable of the situation..

They came out when another company was in the house tearing out the ceiling at the time, so they couldn’t do a good overall assessment. I called them back and told them I found another contractor. They were prompt and the service was very good. I may end up calling them back.

Tom was prompt and very friendly. The work he did was completed timely and correctly the first time! He was very respectful of our home and everything was cleaned up when he left. The way the company does business is right on. From the first initial call through the follow up call the day after service is completed. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We called in today to try to get someone out to look at our furnace that had stopped working. Someone was at our house within roughly two hours. He located the problem, fixed it, and recommended/provided quotes for some future work that should be done so we can plan accordingly before next winter.

It went very well. It was a fast fix. Everyone, from the girls who answered the phone to the technician that performed the fix, were very friendly and courteous. I would definitely call this company again if I am in need of a plumber.
