Cregger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

Everything went great. They came out the next day and gave us an estimate. Then came out 2 days later to install the valves. We priced the job from 2 other plumbers and Cregger was about $300 cheaper!!!

I received a call in advance on the scheduled service date before the plumber arrived, and was told he was on his way. Upon arrival Brian introduced himself, and I explained to him that we had a major water leak under our kitchen sink. After examining the situation, Brian removed the Garbage Disposal Unit and showed me the large rusted crack on the side where the leak was occurring, and indicated that I definitely needed a new one. He then proceeded to replace the old unit with a better new one, and afterwards checked for leaks. Brian secured the water line, also making sure that the sink had no more leakage. He was very professional, polite and pleasant to deal with. If needed in the future, I would definitely contact Cregger Plumbing.

Terrible we had to wait several days for the service and when they arrived provided no service to repair a leaking kitchen faucet which was three years old yet charged us for a service call. We used them because they were recommended by Angie's list . I would not waste my time with these plumbers and to say I am unimpressed in an understatement.

Five stars!!! I would highly recommend Cregger for any plumbing need and I would try to get Jimmy Thomas to do it. I got a call 30 minutes before arriving, he was on time,very professional and explained what he was going to do. We later decided to use alarger cutter and add a root killer. The cost was reasonable for what was done. I even got a senior discount, A company that does what they say are going to do.

Jimmy was very professional, prompt and courteous. Had options and recommendations for me. Did the job well and without delay. Cleaned up after self. Used an Angies List deal and I was happy with the service. Thanks!

I do not take issue with the technician. My concern is that the initial receipt did not indicate the pricing, I,e., the amount charged to my credit card or the amount of the Angie's list coupon. Upon request, they did submit a receipt indicating the amount charged to my credit card, BUT the owner REFUSED to give me a price breakdown. I was just given a price. EVERY consumer has the right to know how/why they are being charged! I cannot image why a business owner would refuse that request. FOR THAT REASON, I REFUSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH CREGGER PLUMBING & SEWAGE AGAIN!

Scheduling the estimate was very efficient - I was able to have someone out the very next day. I was also pleased to find out that Cregger is a "no-paper" company, which means everything is done electronically - very great for reducing waste/increasing efficiency! I received a call 30 minutes prior to Greg's arrival, which was excellent and timely. I ended up taking the day off, but I feel like that window of time was enough for me to leave work if needed. Upon arrival, Greg was extremely courteous and efficient in his inspection and work product. I felt like he really cared about my home and getting the proper work completed. I called today to schedule the gas line work, and again, all was very smooth in that process - Greg will be back next week for our next round of work. I am really looking forward to having Greg return to complete the rest of our needed work our family's first home. Thanks so much to Cregger and Greg!

Greg arrived promptly and as promised. I had two leaks in a laundry tub, one under the kitchen sink and needed my dishwasher checked for leaks. The day of the appointment, I also noticed that my outside faucet was dripping. He fixed the leaks, checked my dishwasher and determined he had to replace my outside faucet. Everything was done is an efficient, professional and cost conscious manner. I would recommend them to anyone and will certainly call on them again.

Company appears to have latest technology for gear. This made it very easy for me to observe the sewer line w/ my untrained eye in HD. They made certain to involve me in the entire process and were quite adept at translating to laymen terms. Empowered me to make decisions on this particular task by ensuring i had thorough details & understanding. Extremely fair rates, considerate staff (both field & office) and quite knowledgeable in their craft. I would (and have since) absolutely use them again. Highly recommend.

It was perfect. A couple of years ago, we had an inground pool taken out. The sump pump was disconnected from the city storm drain at that time and we didn't know we had a connection. Our neighbor informed us (we'd been piping the water into the back yard). Charles from Cregger carefully dug out the drain and connected a camera. He aimed a hose of water to make sure it flowed right. He then reconnected the pipe and told me what would be an indication of blockage. He worked fast and efficiently and cleaned up nicely.

I really liked working with this company and with Jeff. I called on Friday and they were able to come out early on Monday. Jeff came out and was really great. Took the time to explain everything. The gas copper line to the dryer was broken when it was moved for cleaning and we weren't sure how to reconnect. Jeff explained that he could reconnect but that it was not up to code and could be dangerous because the copper is so pliable it is liable to kink. We decided to have him replace it with steel tubing that had a vinyl overlay. He also replaced an old valve we had with one that wouldn't leak. The job looks really neat and tidy. There's a flexible wire, maybe about 3 feet of it front the dryer to the steel piping so we can move it again without it breaking. The second part of the job was checking our sewage with their camera. They didn't charge us anything extra for this because it was an estimate to get work down. We already knew we had a root problem because we had a back up shortly after it was snaked the last time (different plumbing company snaked it). He was able to recommend an affordable solution that didn't require us digging up our entire front yard which we appreciated. They would have made more $ having us do the dig up so I appreciated his honesty with suggesting a good alternative. Also we used the coupon and got $89 off of our job so it really cost us $265 which I felt was a good deal for the work he did. I feel a lot safer knowing everything is up to code and it all looks very neat and polished. He also showed me where the valves were (there are two) to turn off in case of a leak. So great to find a company like this. I'll be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

We were very satisfied and would definitely use Creggar again. With the coupon offered on Angie's List it was a great deal. Creggar even called the next day to follow up on the services, never have I had a company do this. It was wonderful to know that they really cared that the work was done correctly.

The service was great. The plumber showed up on time. He was very courteous and professional. He was patient and didn't get annoyed because the Detroit city water department was late. The service was done very quickly and he even cleaned up after himself. I would call them again.

I placed a call on Sunday requesting service for Monday, as my floor drain in the basement backed up. Jeff arrived, and went to work I have 3 clean outs in my yard, he checked all of them and found the one closest to the house had standing water. Jeff used his camera to look into the lines and determined where the roots were concentrated. He went to work and cleaned them out, he was so neat I wouldn't have been able to tell he had been there. Jeff explained in detail what he saw and I found out that a previous company who had replaced the outside lines had only used PVC on portions of the line and had left the old ceramic hubs in place that's why roots were able to get in. I have had Cregger come out and replace faucets and clean my drains in the past. I trust them completely I even have my 85 year old mother use them. Their employees are always professional, friendly and willing to explain everything to my satisfaction. The estimate on removing the old hot water heater and installing a new one is very reasonable.

Job was quick. Seemed like a lot to replace a cap but who knows.
