Douglas Water was excellent! They explained what the issue was (sulfide gases) and how to get rid of it. I didn't need the water softener, (and they informed me that I didn't), but upgraded my system anyway because it was over 25 years old. Jordan Peaks (sales) was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He had the answer while two other companies did not. Installation was quick and clean. Highly recommended.

I did not see a category for water conditioning or treatment which is what I need for this review since the company did more than just install a water softener. We purchased a foreclosed home with no water conditioning and the arsenic level tested at 48 ppm. They installed a whole-house arsenic filter, water softener, and an RO filter with RO faucet at kitchen sink. They also hooked RO filter up to refrigerator line. They did a great job and I recommend them highly. Everyone I've encountered in the company has been super friendly and professional. The customer service is fantastic. The water tastes great and the follow-up arsenic tests showed no detectable levels of arsenic in either the regular water or the RO water. You can't ask for better results! A few weeks after install I started noticing the rotten egg smell in the hot water and the water pressure in our RO filter dropped drastically. I let them know and they sent someone out right away to remove the anode from the hot water tank and fix the RO filter, at no charge. Be careful when you shop around to ask about the price of replacement filters and whether the products used are NSF certified. One quote I received came in lower but the filters were quite expensive to replace. I recommend Douglas highly for effective water treatment and peace of mind!
