Birds Beware Window Cleaning

They were on time and did an excellent job washing my windows. I was very impressed with the customer service before and after the job was complete.

I was very pleased because the entire process, from scheduling the estimate to completion of the work went very well. All phone and email communications were timely, professional, and helpful. They included photos in the emails of the person who came to do the estimate and of the crew leader who came to do the work so I knew who to expect. The windows look great, and our gutters no longer have little plants growing out of them. They did a good job cleaning up after their work was completed. I will call Birds Beware to schedule gutter cleaning again in late November after all the trees lose their leaves.

We purchased the big deal and it was good. We had no complaints. They were willing to accommodate a couple of extra requests I guess we had. We wanted our porch power washed and there was one area the house was extremely dirty so we had to go over a few areas little bit more than once because we saw that there were streaks. Before they left we pointed them out to them and they did them again. I guess their willingness to make sure the job was satisfactory was good. I can't say excellent just because the house was so dirty but there were a few areas even after they over the best they could with my power washer I had to scrub them my hand and get them cleaned which was fine. I happy they were areas where I could reach. I think the price was pretty good but I think we ended up paying a lot more than that though because the house was big. I think $225 was the base price but I know we ended up paying more because we wanted the porch done. $225 would have been the minimal amount and then we had to add things to it. It was prepaid online and then we paid extra in person. The $225 price did not include the porch and we even told them when we talked to them on the phone that we wanted some more things done. We paid $50 extra above what the $225 was. The quality was good again I don't know if it was because the house was so dirty but I wouldn't say excellent. Their responsiveness was excellent. They came out when they said they were going to come.

Birds beware came out to quote me on powerwashing my home and we agreed on their most expensive package the luxury package. Normally $499 but I did not need the interior windows and tracks done so we agreed on $424. About double the price most other powerwashing companies charge for work I needed done but these guys had pretty good reviews and the salesman was impressive and I felt like I would get a better then average job done on this home we just bought. Unfortunitely I feel we only got average for what would of been double the cost. Birds beware came out sept 8 to do the job. Came out on time, looked professional and freindly. Started their work and the house started looking good. Took em about 2.5 hrs or so and I went out to inspect. Upon inspection I noticed the normal black streaks on the gutters still (I paid for gutter whitening mind you).....no worries so I asked the worker if thats as good as it will get...he said yes because the streaks are etched (oxidized on)...I said ok not impressed as I know thats not the case. I then talked to the 2nd worker (forget names) and told him I paid specifically to remove that black buildup and know it can come off. He said yes it would come off after I told him what his partner said. But they did not have the product on the truck due to they cant carry it on truck all the time cuz its a fire hazard. I asked why they wluldnt bring it knowing I paid for the luxury package n they would need it. I then went back to the side of the house where they were finishing up and the underside white trim flashing still looked really dirty so I mentioned that nicely as they agreed to. I then went to front of house to inspect the rest n found the front to b the same but not as bad. I went back to the back where they were trying to clean it on top of ladder with paper towel n bottle cleaner. The whole side needed done not just a few spots. Its like they didnt want to be bothered to redue the poor job done they did the first time, i told them they probably should redue it cuz it needs it n they agreed. After I also showed them the front they said they wld have to come out in a week or two to bring the proper gutter cleaner n redue the trim. I agreed. I then got a call to confirm the following wed at 330pm so id be home to watch n make sure it got done properly. Instead they came early no phone call notice and hit the gutters (only two gutters on one side of the house is all I have). I came home n seen the water n went and inspected the trim flashing and they didnt even touch any of it. Plus the gutters looked alot better but still can see along the underneath black n some light streaks still. Ive done this kind of job before and with proper scrubbing it could of turned out much better if attention to detail had been used n not a rush job. I shouldnt at $424 had to tell these guys how to do their job. I was super polite about it and didnt even micro manage ju s t mentioned nicely these things. I called n complained n the manager talked to the owners n let them know I wasnt happy. After them offering to come out a third time with diffrent crew and fix it I declined as it shouldn't take 3 tries to do a simple job. My home was not a disaster to begin with just needed a good cleaning.i told them I would pay $250 and thats it and they obliged. Overall the house looks better then it did much better in fact just the monotony of it all as well as the lack of attention and a possible third time coming to do the job as well as the crew not really looking to do anymore work then normal to a basic wash on a house even though I was paying top dollar is unexceptable. I think these things can be fixed so I would give them another shot in a few years on a smaller job and see how that turns out first. Now I must pay another company to redue the work not done. I dont let companies try to fix something 3 times. This isnt baseball.

I contacted the provider through Angie's List and got a response that day. Mike came out to give me an estimate for gutter cleaning and we discussed various gutter guard products, as I was hoping that might prevent birds from nesting in my gutters under the eaves, which in turn blocks the flow of water. He recommended several options other than gutter guards because of the expense, including mostly do-it-yourself fixes. He also suggested ways to improve the angle of one gutter, pointing out that a professional gutter repair might be best to change the angle of some downspouts to eliminate birds nesting. After the estimate, I requested cleaning services to be set up, and about 10 minutes after he left, the extremely pleasant office staffer called to set up the appointment. One week later, they were here right on time in their well-marked work van. They came to the door to double check the services desired, but did not give me their names. They returned one time to ask a question about removing a screen that was covering one of the gutters. After about 1.5 hours, they were finished and were able to take my credit card information and send me an e-receipt right on my doorstep. About 2 hours after they left, I walked around the house and found they had left behind a stiff wire with a hook on the ground, and some residual dirt on the deck from the gutter gunk.

The windows were clean but I had them do the tracks in my sliding glass doors and they just left the mess on my hardwood floors and also they left a mess on my bathroom floors from cleaning the sills. They took longer than what they quoted me and then must have been in a hurry to leave because they left the screens out of my windows in the basement and one of their poles. To their credit they did call afterward to see if every thing was ok and I never returned their call so maybe they would have made it right.

Every aspect was professional. From scheduling the estimate to scheduling the appointment, to the actual work. The follow ups were via email, so I had something in 'writing". the workmen showed up exactly on time & did a thorough job.

This company is very professional and knows customer service. They called when they were on the way, arrived on time and went to work. They even worked around another crew working on my chimney. They need to come back another day to finish the work, but called to explain why (partly because of the chimney crew) and set up another appointment. Part of the reason I hired them is becuase my house is 3 stories tall and I don' t have a ladder tall enough (not sure I would do it even if I had a ladder that tall). When they came out for the quote I asked if they could also replace some exhaust vent covers that were missing (also 3 stories up). They agreed do to it for a very nominal charge. I also asked them to take pictures of the gutter guards becuase I did not have a way to get up there to see them, they did and showed me all the pictures when they were done. Overall I was very happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

They were great, polite, and efficient. They were on-time. They cleaned the interior and exterior. They had a great crew as well. I would highly recommend them.

This is the first time I have used this company. I was impressed with professional looking quote I received. They sent out 2 guys in an unmarked van. They washed the windows using sponges and squeegees attached to long poles. Wiping up the drips with rags attached to the end of the poles. They used the same bucket of water to wash all of the windows. I asked if they change out the water at all. They said no they use the same bucket of water all day. I called the company to complain that windows were not all clean. They gave me the option of a $20 credit or have the cleaners return. I chose that they return. When they came back they brought the poles with rags wrapped around them to touch up where they missed. Couldn't get one window clean they said the seal was broken. Not so sure about that. The window is not foggy like a broken seal but looks smeared. My windows were definitely not as clean as when done by my regular company. My regular company uses fresh water between the outside and inside windows. One cleaning person on the inside and one on the outside. That way each of them could see where the other may have missed. Overall I was not impressed

They're were very good. They just were very efficient and did a good job. The workers were very good. I was really satisfied.

The staff was very professional and the crew was punctual. They did exactly what they said they would and finished the job in a timely manner. They paid special attention to the areas that required it and made sure that we were happy with the results. We plan to use them again in the future.

Chris and Dave showed up to complete the job. Prior to arriving, they called and explained they were running 10 minutes behind and wanted to make sure we knew they were still coming. They walked around the house with us and verified the job they were here to perform. We were unsure about an issue on part of the roof as to whether it was getting moldy and they confirmed it was but because it was such a small part they did not charge us to clean it. We were also concerned that our gutters were in need of repair and not just a cleaning, but after cleaning, it was determined no repair was needed. They were very thorough and did an excellent job. Our windows are so clean it is like there is nothing there. Birds beware!!!! We will definitely be calling them back in the fall for another gutter cleaning. They also gave us options to clean parts of the house on our own to save money, which was appreciated.

This is the 2nd time I have used Birds Beware. I used them in September 2013 for my house power washing. Because they did this job so well I decided to use them again for my window washing. When I called to make the appointment their customer service representative answered the phone promptly, with enthusiasm and professionalism, along with knowledge of what the business offered. I requested outside window cleaning, with no screen cleaning, was quoted a price and an appointment was set up to meet my needs. The service people called on the day of the appointment to see if they could come earlier as a job they had completed was done ahead of time. I agreed to the moved up time. Once they arrived, they introduced themselves, explained what they were going to be doing and asked if what they detailed was correct. It was and so they proceeded to do the job efficiently and with care for gardens that they had to step in to get to the windows. They soon finished the job and the windows looked fantastic. Very professional job well done all in all. Very pleased with results.

Very professional and courteous. They somehow clean the inside windows without much disruption in our normal life. Don't know how they do it, but the windows come out perfect. Even the super high ones! Great prices, too! They did my large home for under $300.

We are regular customers of Birds Beware. Again, they were prompt, courteous and professional when we recently had them clean the outside windows. It started with a call to their very courteous scheduler who worked with us to set up a mutually agreeable time to do the work. The crew that did our windows was prompt, very courteous and very efficient. We were very satisfied with the job they did. And a representative called us after the job was completed to be sure that we were completely satisfied. We consider the window, roof and siding cleaning we've had done by Birds Beware to be an excellent value.

This company worked themselves silly! They were punctual, neat, and efficient. All work was done thoroughly. This was the second time we've used this company.

Workers were very punctual. They were friendly, responsive and did an excellent job. In fact, I have had my windows and chandelier cleaned by a variety of companies in the past and Birds Beware did the best job by far. I have already recommended them to other neighbors and friends and they plan on using them.

I had used them previously in November. I had a $20 coupon from Angie's List. They were great. There were no problems. They were punctual and everything was wonderful. My windows were clean. They did the job and they were efficient and pleasant. They even called to follow up to see if I was happy. I called them to tell them I was going to be late and they were here waiting for me. They were actually early. The price was excellent. It was cheaper than the last time because I had them do the screens and tracks that time. My daughter is moving so we will be using them for her house.

They were professional. They did a good job in a timely manner. It was a fair price. They were on time.

I had to cancel the appointment a couple times, due to weather and work schedules. They were always very courteous and called me back to reschedule as I had requested. I was worried they would stand on the ground a point a power sprayer at the windows, which would be loud, as I work from home. They were actually very, literally, hands on. The glass was spotless and I wasn't interrupted once. I will definitely have them back.

It went as planed they spend about 2 hours cleaning the windows with no problems.
