I contacted Thomas to obtain a quote to have repairs made to my chimney. The repairs had to be made at a location that was 40 foot above the ground and 12 foot above the roof line. The roof is a 10/12 pitch two story with a walk out basement. The location of the chimney was on the side of the house where the ground had a significant slope making it impossible to perform the work with ladders so the work site was not easy to maneuver around. I had contacted several others to request a quote and many did not even want to take the time to come out and quote the job. The others who did come out said they would rather pass on the job because of the location of the repair and the difficulty of getting up to it safely. Thomas did not hesitate to come out and put a plan of attack together. He took pictures of the area needing repair and put a detailed action item list together with the materials that were needed to complete the job. He explained how he would need to set up the job site to make it safe for him and his crew to access the area needing the repairs. Thomas provided a detailed quote and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns in a professional manner. Thomas and his crew started the work on the day he said they would and showed up on time. They were all very professional and polite. There was a crew of 4 and they all worked very well together. Thomas took photos of the work throughout the project so I could see what they found and what they were planning to repair. This was very helpful since the work area was not easily accessible and I wanted to have assurance that they were doing what they said they would do. The job took 2 full days to complete and was on target with the quote he provided. Thomas and his crew are very detailed oriented problem solvers and performed the work at our home at a level of quality as though it was their own home. We are very pleased with the work Thomas and his team did and will definitely be calling upon him in the future for some other jobs we need done. Thank you Wells/Thomas, LLC

Excellent. He broke down all the work in sections of the house and what each job would cost.This allowed me to pick and choose which portion of the house was a priority and what I could afford. I only need the roof to last one or two more years till I can afford to re-roof the entire house. I talked to him on the phone, he came out two days latter, we went over the trouble spots and he jumped right on it that day.

They were the first to come and give an estimate. They gave me the estimate when they said they would (no one else did and I called at least 10 companies). They used better materials than the other companies. They came exactly when they said they would and got the job done in one day. I was very pleased with my experience with Wells Thomas LLC.

I heard from Thomas 10 minutes before I received the email from Angie's List indicating that they'd found him to complete my job! Within two hours the job was done - Thomas is professional and explains everything he's going to do and why - I would recommend him to anyone and I won't hesitate to call upon his services again!

He was very easy to work with, quick to come up with solutions, and had all the equipment necessary to do the job, (including tarps so neither the cabinets nor the floors were marred). He knows what he's doing. We have nothing but the highest regard for Thomas and his work and look forward to working with him as soon as the floors are dry!

Spectacular good job. I would recommend I was impressed with his promptness, completeness, and cleanliness of his work. I would strongly recommend him to do your handyman and other work. In fact, I have used him on three other projects and have recommended him for another.

Tom was very responsive and came over immediately to quote the work that needed to be done. He was very detailed in the process needed to complete the work that I was requesting. He also gave options as far as how we could complete the job for the microwave and vent to the outside. I also asked Tom to fix some drywall areas due to settling and previous drywall work that was done poorly. Tom could have just slapped mud on the areas that I asked to be fixed but he was better than that. A lot of the areas could be fixed just by using a good flat paint called Blackout flat from home depot instead of the semi gloss that was currently on the ceilings. He said that outside of the kitchen we should have a flat paint to hide imperfections on the ceiling. While working on the vent for the microwave he found a vent that was already in the ceiling that was never used. This saved him time so he knocked 200 off his price. I usually do my own work in the house but with kids and activities I no longer have the time. I am very particular (wife says picky) about the work done in the house so it was hard to let someone else in the house to do work. I can honestly say that Tom has made me believer that other people can work on the house. Tom was great and he and his crew worked together perfectly. He was a model of efficiency and performed the job better than I thought it could be done. Needless to say I will be having Tom back for additional work.

Tom was exceptionally professional and straightforward. He completed the projects quickly and efficiently, and the work was excellent. He stuck to his price despite some unforeseen challenges in replacing some of the plumbing valves. He is my go-to guy for any projects in the future.

Thomas did excellent work, we were able to take down the chimney stack and install a skylight in a day and a half. Thomas provided a great price and quick work. would hire again.

Thomas did a great job. He did this work at my mother-in-laws home and was very good with her. He was very reasonable in his quote and did not try to oversell us (as we experienced from some other). He was thorough in looking at everything involved before giving us his estimate. The work was professionally done and completed on a timely basis. We would definitely use him again.

Could not have gone better. He came over the same day I contacted him and made a temporary repair to stop the leak. Then he came back the next day and spent six hours doing the repair as described above. He did an excellent job in every respect and I will definitely use him for any future work I may need.

Thomas was responsive, professional, and incredibly thorough. A portion of my deck needed to be rebuilt and Thomas did an exceptional job matching the existing design. I was impressed by his crew's attention to small details. The doors that Thomas trimmed were not in standard openings, and Thomas did a great job making the doors look clean and neat. Thomas was upfront about the costs of materials, and didn't try to add on costs for any of the small modifications to our original agreement. For major changes, he told me about the change, what extra work it involved, and the cost. It was great to have that type of honesty and integrity in a contractor. It was also a relief not to have to constantly renegotiate the price. His crew cleaned up everyday, and kept my house looking sharp even during construction. Finally, Thomas and his were very friendly and approachable; my wife felt very comfortable talking with each of them about the design of the deck. They presented several suggestions; and took their time to make sure that we were satisfied with the job. My wife and I will undoubtedly using Wells Thomas again for any of our home projects.

Tom failed to call and notify me of his inability to make appointments on 2 separate occasions. On both occasions I called him after our agreed upon time windows to confirm that he would be unable to attend. I rescheduled after the first missed appointment, but declined to do so after it happened again a second time. I found Tom to be very responsive. When leaving a message on his cell phone, he promptly called me back. Moreover, the last time we spoke he directly answered his cell phone. There was never an issue with him not returning my phone calls. Tom was also professional during our conversations. While I'm sure he wasn't thrilled when I declined to reschedule my appointment he was very courteous and composed. While I wish I would've gotten the opportunity to utilize Tom's services (the other Angie's List reviews seem to hold his work in high esteem), I simply wasn't willing to risk scheduling a 3rd meeting with the possibility of the same result.
