From the original meeting and estimate to the day the job was completed I could not have been more pleased with Tom Southwell and wells Thomas LLC. The rental home they worked on for me had tenants living in it and Tom and his crew would work on the home all day and always clean up after themselves so well that you wouldn't know they had been their. As we worked on the repairs, Tom and his crew once we tore into the shower realized that many errors had been made by the previous owner of the home when he re- did the master bath 10+ years ago. He not only corrected the obvious problems regarding the plumbing, but also ensured the threshhold was corrected, the pitch on the floor was done to code and even insulated the outside wall better to ensure no more freezing drain pipe in the cold Michigan winters. Then when it came to tiling the entire shower, Chris, who works for Tom did an amazing job. He built custom made recessed shelves, in laid tile to produce a unique contrasting pattern at eye level and just made the shower better than new. Tom Southwell and Wells Thomas is someone to use for your next project. Tom came in within budget which is important, but what most impressed me is Tom's integrity and honesty which to be honest with you is not always easy to find in this business. Its great to have someone actually deliver on a commitment. I was so impressed with Tom and wells Thomas that I used them for another job on the home I live in. (See additional report) Thanks Tom!

Needed exterior door knob replaced immediately for security purposes, but didn't know who to call. Joined Angie's List, and looked for contractor in my immediate area. Contractor completed work within 24 hours. Fair price. Am not disclosing amount paid as I paid no trip cost (I live within a mile of this contractor). There would be some charge for the trip if it is a substantial distance. Very satisfactory job done. Will definitely call again.

I was pleased with the result. good job all around, done promptly.

Had another company take a crack at replacing my wood burning stove pipe and they struggled with the job. I felt it was necessary to have somebody else step in. Thomas came in and got things handled and under control very quickly and the price was right. Very professional. Zero complaints.

They did quite a bit of work. Numerous people had come out to bid different parts of that job like painting, drywall, roofing and so forth. They seemed to be pretty competent at carrying out all aspects of the job. They proved to be very professional and did very good work. They stuck to their schedule and made sure that we were satisfied throughout the job. We had some changes to make and they were very adaptable to those changes. They were not the cheapest, but were still competitively priced. They were very customer focused. My experience with them was great.

Tom also does commercial work for apartment complexes. He had a professional attitude throughout and genuinely cared about the results. His price was reasonable considering the extent of the work that was needed (for a house that had been abandoned and foreclosed). Now a month later, all the repairs have held up well. I love the perfect results.

They needed to crawl into a tight attic to brace the chimney from the inside of the youse. They were very timely, efficient and nicely cleaned up the messs they made. They were professional and polite throughout the process. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

I did not hire him for the job, primarily because he was not licensed.

Tom gave us a fair price for this roof repair, so we agreed to the project. Tom and 2 crew members showed up the day after we agreed on the price and completed the work in about 3 hours. Result: It's beautiful! Since we had the foresight to save 3 bundles of shingles from the original roof job 9 years ago, the patch is completely invisible. You can't tell there was ever a 2 ft. by 6 ft. chimney that went through the roof. Tom and his crew were at all times, professional, punctual, and friendly. They completely cleaned up their mess and hauled away all of the debris. He even had his crew clean out our gutters while they were up there fixing the hole! We have hired Tom to install an 8 ft. door wall on the exterior wall where the chimney was, and will submit a separate report on that project once work is completed. We are very happy with the work so far and recommend Tom's company to anyone needing roof repairs or other carpentry work.

Crew of 3 arrived on time and worked nonstop until completion. Boss worked in attic when attic temp was approx 115+. Adapted well to unforeseen changes in owners schedule and circumstances.. Cleaned up after themselves very well. Would I hire again? Yes

Excellent - my husband uses this company as a commercial contractor and Tom Southwell told me he also does residential service. I was very pleased. We had a leak in our roof, he fixed it promptly a couple months ago, then came out to do additional work on roof and around windows and chimney as weather got colder.
