Smooth- independent service that test did so even after the holiday came on Labor day itself no extra charge I did not have to take off work.
Description of Work: Tested air and surfaces for mold, new all aspects of the situation WAS NOT A CONTRACTOR OR REMEDIATOR so I knew he had no prejudices to find mold or problems. Nothing to gain if it was positive. yes a little expensive but will keep you out of harms way

I submitted a request for Mold Free to call me regarding a mold odor in our house and Dan called us back. He talked with my husband and Dan said he would come out and check out the house to see what needed to be done. He did not say anything about a service charge for coming out to view our situation and give us a recommendation or estimate. We decided to call him back to see if it was a "free" estimate. He said there is a $75.00 charge just to come out. No mention of this on our initial phone call. He had an attitude with us on the phone and came off as rather rude. He was very pushy about coming out as well. Will not do business with him in the future.

We had an emergency and brought Dan out to do an air quality test on his recommendation. This was after we uncovered a tile in the basement that appeared to possibly have a black mold residue on it. Dan came into the basement, set up a little canister, watched it make a little noise for 5 minutes. That was it. We walked him over to the spot that we thought might be moldy. He had no idea what he was looking at, and said as much. He then tried to overcharge us by $125. After we called him out on it, he tried to negotiate an air test outside. At that point we felt trapped and too embarrassed to say no. Totally felt taken advantage of, and that this was a quick money grab. Stay away.
