+ -1 moreThey failed to plow our driveway for both of the first two snowfalls of the year. I called to find out what the issue was since my husband was forced to shovel it so that we could access our home safely. I was told that they have up to 8 hours to plow it and if there is a car in the driveway they can't plow it (even though before I agreed to the service I was assured that a car in the driveway wouldn't be an issue). After it was clear that the relationship wasn't going to work for Geronimo or us, I requested a refund and was told they would not give it to me. So they're keeping my money and not providing the service I paid for. UPDATE - now they are harassing me of Facebook because I posted a negative (but honest) review! It’s been 6 months and they haven’t stopped!! So unprofessional and plain fraudulent. Future potential customers - run away from this company as quickly as you can!!!

Description of Work: Hired for snow plowing of driveways and all walks for the winter. Paid half up front, and the remainder was due mid-winter. | |Contract was for driveways and all walkways. House is a corner lot. First snow was light, 2 or 3 inches. Driveways were plowed, very short sidewalk to front door was missed, front sidewalk was done, but only about 2/3 of the width was cleared - not enough to allow 2 people to walk side by side. first half of side sidewalk was cleared for 2/3 of the width and the second half was not done at all. | |I called to complain about the incomplete job. Left message on answering machine. Call back was never received from Geronimo. An apology was never received. A Return to finish the job was never made. | |A day or two later, there was another light snowfall. The driveways were plowed, the front sidewalk was 2/3 of the width cleared, the short walk to the front door and all of the side sidewalk were totally missed. I again called to complain. I again left a message on the answering machine and never received a call back, nor an apology, nor did they return to finish the job. | |Save you money and hire someone that knows how to do a complete job and can respond to a simple phone call. Spending $225 for a lousy job and a company that is incapable of either answering the phone or returning a phone call is the ultimate ripoff. Save your money and hire someone else. | |

+ 0 moreWe are not lawn fanatics and my husband does not believe in using the sprinkler system, but I like that they use a granular weed and feed that is better for the lawn and environment. Considering that only God waters our lawn, it looks pretty good. When I have problems or suggestions, I call or email and Darrell is always responsive.
Description of Work: Geronimo has been cutting, edging, trimming and fertilizing our lawn for about 4 years once a week.

Description of Work: I hired Geronimo to mow and edge two lawns for me. They also did a lawn aeration for each lawn.

+ -1 moreWe hired Geronimo lawn service for weekly lawn service in 2007. By the 4th cut the quality of mowing declined sharperly. Portions of the lawn were ripped up by tires of riding lawn mowers, portions of the lawn was missed and portions of our neighbor's lawn was mowed and looked quite awful. Calls were made to correct the poor cutting, but after one "better" cutting, the tire marks continued on several portions (now requiring re-seeding). The final straw came with a cut in late June when the edgers cut a sprinkler line next to the sidewalk. The owner came to do an inspection, despite the fact we stated we need to be there to turn on the sprinkler system in order to demonstrate the damage. They refused to pay for the damage stating that it was am improper installation of the sprinkler line. We were willing to accept that to move on, but the owner insisted on full payment of all cuts. We paid, but still asked for an in-person meeting to resolve the sprinkler damage. We have yet to hear.
Description of Work: Hired for weekly lawn service of cutting, trimming and edging for $22/week. Also hired for summer fertilization program. Prior customer for snow removal.
