I was skeptical, but this turned out to be a really good experience. My 1920's house leaks like mad, and i was looking to ID and rectify the energy issues with the most bang for the buck. The initial inspection/audit was thorough, and they identified numerous issues, many of which i was aware of and some not. the proposed fixes (presented in 3 packages of increasing cost starting at around $3K) were more pricey than i was interested in, so i had them line item each fix and i put together my own work scope for $1750. The guys showed up on-time a few days later and were professional, clean and fast. I looked over the work the next day, and I found a few things that were missed, but they came right back out and did some touch-ups to my satisfaction. In the meantime, I did a few of the smaller/easier fixes myself. The re-test (included in the repair cost) showed a 30% decrease in air leakage, which was better than expected and qualified us for a slightly larger rebate from Consumers Energy than we'd planned on, so bonus there. After rebates, the net cost for all of this was $900. The Consumers Energy rebate check arrived in about 4 weeks for the expected amount ($850). I've noticed a significant decrease in drafting, and less variation in the temperature room to room and floor to floor. we'll see about energy $$$ savings this summer/next winter, but i think this was a great service. I wish i had done this 3 years ago when we bought the place.

It was very to schedule an appointment with the company and the energy audit team came in on time. They methodically measured up my house and provided detailed explainations of any findings. Blower door test was quite an eye opener and pictures taken with infrared camera showed areas of air leakage. Amanda presented me with a list of options to improve my house energy efficiency . The team was very detail oriented and was able to provide me with the complete energy audit results while at my house. Her pricing was competive with other companies in the area

The overall process went very well. They were friendly, helpful, knowlegable, and answered all of our questions and concerns. There was a little scheduling mishap. I got the impression that it was an isolated incident as they were very apologetic and offered us a discount to continue with their services, which we did. After the installation was over the did another audit to make sure it was done properly and effectively. We are very happy with their services and would not hesitate to use them again (if needed) or recommend their services to others.

Jeremy explained everything he was doing. Came back several weeks later to go over repairs. Could no be happier with their service.

There were a couple of things that points out and we would like to address where the leaks were during the summer. They did check for carbon monoxide and it was clean. They made a few suggestions like they were certain leaks by a couple of windows and a couple of doors, so we would be planning to go about it. Overall, they were very quiet and they did their job. The overall experience was very good. They were very professional. This was the first time that we were doing the energy efficiency audit and with all the equipment they came with, it was all handled in a very professional manner. We know a couple of people who have spent more than what we did.

Had a home energy audit. Got a great price from Angie's list. I was happy with the job they did. I did not do any of the improvements as they were all pretty minor such as a little more insulation.

The young men that did the work arrived on time, worked all day and were very nice. They were even good with my 2 crazy dogs. I would certainly recommend the company to anyone.

We reduced air leakage and saved over $100 our first month after the spray foam. Amanda was able to truly take advantage of the rebates being offered by the local energy companies which was truly helpful. She even handled the paper work for us. We would highly recommend Ecotelligent homes to all of our friends and family. Every home owner should have at the very least an energy audit. Call them!

Amanda Godward is just the kind of professional you would want to take on this project. We had her come out to our 1930's house and perform the service. She was super thorough and detailed. The house has many unique rooms and twists so it was not a typical job. She took the time to answer every question and followed up with more information after. Since the report has come back we have had Amanda out to the house to perform more inspections for us and will be hiring her to complete improvements just as soon as we figured out which project to tackle. The beauty of having this done is that it takes the mystery out of where one needs to focus there dollars for the most return. Originally I thought the house needed new windows to solve the draft and cold issues but the real issue was no insulation. I would have spent money unwisely. Again, I recommend this company to the fullest.

It went really well and you can pretty much choose to involved in as much or as little of the process as you like. Basically, she showed up, took measurements and did visual inspections and note taking. If you have utility bills (I didn't) she'll ask to review those as well. After that she does a scan of the house with (infra-red?) to check for weak points in your insulation. Next, she'll set up a blower door that pulls air inside the house through all the gaps, holes and leaks. This is the most interesting part since you can feel first hand all the surprising places air is rushing into your home. She does another scan while the blower door is on. All of these step are photographed and documented in a comprehensive report that she personally explains to you within about a week or so after the audit. The whole process took about 3 hours for our 1800 square foot house (with a basement)
