We called Diversified after losing power and burning out the transfer switch. The tech was prompt but spent hours looking at documentation and talking on the phone trying to figure out what to do about the problem. After a few hours of effort, he determined that he couldn't solve the problem that day, so he called in an electrician to wire around the transfer switch so that we could have power to the house. The Diversified tech left and shortly thereafter the electrician that Diversified contracts with showed up and bypassed the switch. I had to pay for 'emergency' repair time because the repair call came after 5pm We've used Diversified in the past for other areas of our house and they have been very good. However, I don't believe that they currently have the experience necessary to deal with whole house generators. I should never have had to pay for another party to come out and bypass the transfer switch. By way of comparison, I contacted another company who has a great deal of experience in Generac Generators. It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment, but when they came out they repaired the problem quickly and efficiently. The tech did not have to consult manuals or call for help. I respect the people who work for Diversified, but I think for the time being they just don't have the necessary experience to deal with generators.

I would absolutely use them in the future. If anything happens, I call them and they go there first thing in the morning. They don't charge me if anything happens. I have been using them for 4 years. They are the number one go to company for anything.

We have used DHC on numerous occasions for different issues (i.e., AC not working, replaced furnace,). Each time they are always punctual, responsive, and professional. For our latest issue, we just moved into a new house and the hot water heater kept going out. I called first thing in the morning (after taking a cold shower), and they came out that same morning to replace the water heater. The heater was at least 20 years old, and we could have opted to replace the thermocouple and a few other things, but we decided we would get a new water heater. Having said that, they had a new water heater within an hour at our house. It was amazing how fast they were able to bring the water heater over and replace it. Throughout the whole process they were very informative, fast, and they clearly knew what they were doing. DHC is the best service provider we have used. Given the numerous times we've called on them, I definitely trust them with all of our heating and cooling issues.

I called DHC because my boiler/heating unit was slowly leaking water through the pressure release valve. I was told I would be required to pay $75 just to have a man come to my house. A technician was quick to respond, within 2 hours. That's the only thing good I can say about them. He noticed right away that my diaphragm expansion tank was full of water. He determined this in 2 seconds by knocking on the tank with his knuckles. He then said my expansion tank was broken and needed replaced along with the pressure release valve. He then wrote up an estimate for $664.20 which included the $75 call fee. Usually the call fee is deducted from an estimate if the estimate is accepted right? Wrong. Not with DHC. I looked at the label on the expansion tank and noticed that it said on it that you need to add air for the expansion tank to work properly. I asked the technician why he didn't try pumping in some air first? He asked me if I would like him to try pumping air into it. I said yes of course. Se went to his truck and got a bicycle pump, attached it to top of the tank and was NOT ABLE add any air to the tank. I noticed he did not even open up a valve in the system in order to let water out for there to be room for accepting air. I thought, this guy is either INCOMPETENT or he is TRYING TO RIP ME OFF. I declined the estimate declaring that I didn't like his pricing. He then requested to be paid the $75 call fee, even though he failed to even add any air to my tank. I gave it to him and he left. I then took my own bicycle pump and easily added the air myself. And what do you know, the pressure release valve stopped leaking! I called the office to complain to the owner, Mark Bartrum. Mr. Bartrum gave me some malarkey about not offering to add air because it might leak out again. I now make a point of contention with this philosophy. Do you buy new tires whenever they are low on air? Mr Bartrum offered to return the $75. I accepted the offer. It's been two weeks now and I still haven't seen my $75 returned.

AC condensor was not running, and I called to get a repairman out. They set an appointment within a 2 hour time block. The repairman called when he was on his way and gave me an ETA. He arrived and checked out the inside equipment, then went to the outside. He took the time to explain what might have happened and why, and showed me everything he was doing. The disconnect switch had overheated and melted, because the capcitor had gone bad and the compressor overheated. He replaced the diconnect switch and the capacitor, and confirmed that the inside unit (coils) were performing as they should.He was on-site about an hour. I had no problem with his work or expertise, only the pricing. The parts I could buy at home depot for about $45. So labor/knowledge cost me $350 per hour. I feel this is a little steep. I will call another firm if I have problems again as I see rates advertised at $99 per hour and other providers on Angie's List have discount coupons for service calls.

Very efficient, very effective and the MOST expensive heating and air-conditioning company that has ever been to my house.

They are terrific and wonderful! They made a video tape and were very thorough and professional. They were very good. Their prices are what we thought was within reason. They absolutely delivered.

I thought that this was it for this air conditioner, but I was real pleased to find out they could repair the furnace. They were able to respond fast and fix the problem. I'm not really sure what he had to replace, but it was not the whole system as I thought it would be. They were polite and really knew what they were doing.

I HAD CALLED SEVERAL COMPANIES. THIS WAS THE FIRST COMPANY TO RESPOND. I FEEL THEY CHARGED A FAIR PRICE AND THE SERVICE WAS QUICK. THEY STUCK TO THE BASICS AND DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME ANYTHING EXTRA.

IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE TECHNICIANS WERE RESPONSIVE TO OUR NEEDS. THEY WERE COMPETENT OF THE JOB AT HAND. THEY WERE VERY INFORMATIVE WHEN ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE UNIT.
