They came out right away and fixed them. We were very pleased with them.

The Frost Proof Hose bibs (outdoor faucets) failed about 18 months - 2 years to the date of installation. We had them installed on the front and back of the house in April of 2010. The front faucet leaked after the spring thaw in April 2012, and I called BF plumbing to fix the problem. It turned out that I missed the warranty by just a few days. We agreed on covering the cost of the labor to replace the front faucet, and they covered the replacement faucet (which I suggested after they would not just do the repair at their cost). I was told by BF plumbing that they were no longer using this type of faucet because they were having so many problems with them. They replaced the front faucet on that day. The back faucet (same faucet model and installation date) was never addressed. Well, I went outside to find out on 11-22-14 , the back faucet has failed also. They should have replaced this one too if they were having problems with them. Now I am stuck with calling another plumber to come out and do the job the correct way, by using a faucet that I hope doesn't fail after two years or so. Not satisfied. This experience was an expensive trial. We will not let them near our house again. By the way, even the front faucet (which technically was repaired) is noisy (we were told by another plumber, who was here to remodel the kitchen, that a washer was missing from the faucet. Unfortunately the other plumber did not carry the washer that was needed on his truck.)

The technician was very prompt. The repair was extremely simple. A short connceting section of pipe, about 2.5 inches, had to be replaced on my well line. The repairman called it a nipple. The repair was something I could have easily done myself, but I really didn't have the time. When the gentleman told me that the pipe was a 1" pipe and that their policy was to charge in the neighborhood of 350 - 450 dollars, I immediately told him I would do it myself. He replied that he didn't think that the repair warranted anywhere near that charge, so he told me he would "work with me" on the price. He then proceeded to try to upsell me everyway possible. He asked if I'd be interested in joining their Ben Franklin club (for a fee), which would qualify me for inspections and discounts. It was already obvious that their prices were unreasonably high, so there was no chance that I'd be willing to obligate myself to using them in the future.From there, he tried to sell me on the virtues of a tankless hot water heater. I told him I was not at all interested, but he still kept selling, selling, selling. He was a pleasant enough guy, but all I wanted was a simple repair performed at a fair and reasonable price. Next time I need a plumber, I'll try Angie's List.

I had used them before. They are very prompt. They stand by their word and show up on time. I called them to cancel their appointment to repair it. I changed my mind and called them back, and they came without problems. It was a holiday weekend. They put in a sump pump that didn't work after a few hours. The guy immediately came back and put a new one in, and we haven't had any problems since. He actually helped me snake out a sewer line just for the inconvenience. UPDATE: upgraded the quality score since they came back right away on a holiday weekend to make it right when the pump died.
