Description of Work: Had all 9 windows replaced in my home February of this year. I had three different companies, all with top ratings on Angies list, give me quotes and chose 21st Century to purchase replacement windows.I was impressed with knowledge on windows and options available to me within my budgeted price range of 5600 dollars. The work was done on time, in one day, and I absolutely love my windows. I have already recommended this company and will continue to recommend them to family and others needing windows.

Description of Work: Replaced two sliding doors with two new sliding doors with blinds inside the glass. Work was accomplished in one day with about one hour of work on another day. I will say that we are very pleased with the doors.

Description of Work: Installed 15 windows and door-wall. Mark and office were very helpful and accommodating. Worked with us to set a convenient starting date. Workmen were helpful and professional. Price was very good. Workmen cleaned up well. Mark returned to make sure everything was satisfactory. Home owner must paint any inside trim that is installed.

Description of Work: Came over for a window estimate and was completely honest! Mark didn't try to over or under sell me, he sold me exactly what I needed/wanted and was willing to give me a lot of advice on some other home projects I have going.

Description of Work: I called for estimates on replacing three windows and putting new siding on my house. The young woman in the office was courteous and professional. When I didn't receive a call from the person she contacted I spoke with her a second time he finally called and said he had called and spoken with my husband (Iam not married) He then said the job was too small to justify the drive even though my area is listed in their ad. So no loss on my part and they may be a fine company, they should just be more specific in their advertising.

Description of Work: I don't remember how long ago this happened. It wasn't my most positive experience. I bought a deal of the day, supposedly a whole house seal. It took forever to schedule and reschedule. I was told how the job would take 3 people about a half day, and that combined with the winter season, it was difficult to schedule. When I finally threatened to cancel, he immediately found time. He alone spent about 45 minutes and pronounced my house "sealed." Whatever.

Description of Work: He suggested a 40 year shingle so that we could get more wear out of it. We went with a 40 year GAF Timberline shingle. He also included vents at the top of the peaks which is code. He used extra water and ice shields to prevent water and ice damage and he also put new gutters on the house($5,600). Our knee wall of brick was cracking and the brick was crumbling. He put on extra flashings and tuck pointed the brick. He also put limestone caps on top of the brick to save it from the elements and from crumbling($2,200). He put on new siding which was Crane Board product which was an insulated panel siding. He used Tybek tape underneath the siding. We went with a new color to coordinate with our new roof($18,500). He put in 2 6ft doorwalls and 1 5ft doorwall, all were French gliding Anderson doors. He also added new windows into a new room($4,400). He installed a drywell drainage system to solve our water drainage problems that was leading from our driveway. This helped to solve our problem of the rain water and snow accumulating in our garage. He also put an 8 inch pipe into the field so that the water and snow would drain away from the house and garage($1,200). He also put insulation in our sunroom and new foyer, in which he enclosed both rooms, drywalled over the insulation and primed the walls, put light fixtures into the ceilings and installed windows and doors. He added on a new front porch which included a large overhang with a tongue and groove barrel ceiling. The barrel ceiling also has 4 pillars resting on slate and limestone supports($18,000).

Description of Work: CONTACTED 21ST CENTURY TO REPLACE A 30 YEAR OLD PATIO DOOR. OLD ALUMINUM PATIO DOOR UNIT WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A "ROYAL-TECH" VINYL/WOOD FRAMED UNIT MANUFACTURED BY NRG OUT OF TAYLOR MICHIGAN.

Description of Work: Mark (the owner) and his crew removed and replaced 7 windows (2 of them were very large) and a door wall with high-quality vinyl replacement windows. While he was here for the installation, Mark also performed other minor miscellaneous repairs that he noticed as he walked through the house - nail pops in the ceiling, cracks in the foundation, caulk around the shower/tub,etc. at no additional cost. He added extra insulation (fiberglass and foam) around all of the windows before trimming and sealing.
