The team was professional, courteous and very clean. They came to work on a very hot day, but still had the best attitude even though I'm sure they were exhausted from the temperatures and full day of installation. I would absolutely hire them again and have already recommended them to two separate family members.

Working with 21st Century Windows was the smoothest project I have ever had, working with a contractor. Cody kept me updated weekly on window procurement status and the installers were very professional, respectful of my property and kept things clean, to the point you would never have known work was jut done to my home, except for the fact that we now had beautiful new windows. Thank you guys! Will definitely use your services again in the future.

Cody and his crew were fabulous! Cody was readily accessible throughout the entire process and very pleasant and trustworthy in all dealings! His estimate on timing for delivery and installation was right on! His installers were efficient and did wonderful work. They left my house clean after installation. We had 21st Century Window replace our windows over twenty years ago. The windows have performed wonderfully all this time. They even did my son’s home a couple of years ago. We called recently to have a minor issue corrected on one of the windows after all these years. Mark, the owner, came right out the day I called and is providing a few replacement parts to correct the problem. Issue solved! That’s service and reliability!

This is the second time I have had windows installed by 21st century windows. Mark was able to implement the upgrades I wanted to make to my home perfectly. Tom knocked out the installation in 2 days and everything looks great. The doorwall and large picture window have really brought the outdoors in.

Cody was professional and straight-forward from the get-go. The price they gave us wasn't the lowest, but they tried and succeeded in giving us exactly what we wanted. The team was very professional and meticulous throughout and the final result exceeded all expectations. Cody even swept out and lubricated the sliding doors in our Florida room that wasn't being worked on. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We went with 21st century window to replace a large glass block window with a picture window. They were prompt and quick to install. Very knowledgeable about their products. Their prices are very appropriate, and they beat every quote that we received from larger companies. Cody has been more than helpful and professional, and the guys that came additionally to install were great. They have truly been fantastic to work with! We received text updates of window status and communication is awesome. We absolutely love the new window put in our kitchen, it is beautiful! We actually ordered 3 more windows before they were done with the install. We are happy to work with them again. Would definitely recommend these guys for an easy and efficient job! :)

I'm very pleasantly surprised with the work performed by 21 St. Century Windows. I expect any contractor to be: trustworthy (show up when they'll say they'll show up, and do what they say they'll do), professional (respectful interactions, respect for the house and neighbors, clean after themselves, etc), and proficient in what they do (deliver a quality product). This is the bare minimum that you'll expect from anyone providing a service and unfortunately, it seems to be rare. 21 St. Century Windows met these points. With that said,I will like to highlight where 21 St. Century Windows went above and beyond my expectations: - Cody (my main contact) wanted to solve my problem, not sell me some windows. He listened to my issues and concerns and made his best recommendations to solve my problem. I cannot stress how important this is. You hire a contractor (for the most part) because you lack the expertise and/or the appropriate tools to do something. I do not know what I don't know and I expect the contractor to guide me with his/her expertise (this to me is the true value added of hiring an expert). - I had few interactions with Mark (the owner), but he was always willing to walk me through all the technical details of the options that we where looking at. It is very frustrating when contractors are condescending and/or unwilling to explain something. This was not the case. - Tom and Jim did an amazing job with the installation. Tom's attention to detail takes an OK job to a job WELL DONE. Most people probably won't notice those finishing details, but I personally do, so this makes a big difference for me. - For reference, I ended up selecting Sunrise Windows. I think they offer the best value for the price (at least for what I was looking for). Their quality is on par with more expensive offerings, but their marketing is confusing as ****. I had to do a ton of homework to understand the details of the product, but Mark's and Cody's help walking me through the details was what convinced me in the end to go down that route.

The crew from 21st Century Windows was amazing! First, salesman Cody was very professional and pleasant - he knew what windows I needed without the pushy salesmanship or baloney. Mark (owner) was very professional and pleasant as well, measuring the existing windows for ordering accuracy and making suggestions on additional future work the house may need. On installation day, the 2-man crew was punctual. They had the old windows out and the new windows installed in just under 2.5 hours. WOW! The caulking and trim took the longest, The crew also cleaned up the interior and picked up the yard. So nice!! I highly recommend 21st Century Windows.

This is the second time I've used 21st Century. Both times I've found Mark to be responsive and conscientious and I've been very happy with the products. We love our new sliding doorwalls.

Mark is very easy to work with. He always answers calls promptly and keeps his customers informed if there are issues or changes with the order prior to installation. This is the second time I have hired Mark to install new windows and I would definitely use him again.

Mark Tuefel, owner, is a consummate professional. He is 100% responsive and conscientious We hired Mark for some windows about 10 years ago and returned to him for this job also. Our experience, as we expected, was again excellent. Mark met with us to decide on type of windows, and spent a great amount of time explaining his approach and recommendations. We had some brick that had to be removed to enlarge the windows and he and his excellent crew did a great job. They cut the brick well and were able to save the existent stone windowsill and drop it down to the depth of new windows. He added foam insulation as we had none. The windows we chose are Sun rise, a Michigan company, and are beautiful! We purchased the option of mini blinds between the panes and they are great. The windows function beautifully. We have had three neighbors text us how beautiful they are! They have added a substantial upgrade to our home. Hire Mark..he is a man of integrity and is terrific!

We were looking to replace 5 windows at the back of our kitchen that were old and really drafty. They made the room unbearably cold in the Winter not to mention the high heating bills. We found Mark (owner) through Angie's List and couldn't believe the solid 5 stars he received. We got quotes from other companies including one of the big window companies. If you're simply interested in the lowest cost, 21st Century Windows isn't for you and they don't offer financing. But the Sunrise Windows they sell are some of the highest rated in the country AND the only ones with a LIFETIME warranty--a solid investment. Plus 21st Century Windows has a lifetime warranty on all their work as well. And Mark's passion for his trade is undeniable. He TRULY cares what people think of him and his business and wants to stand out as a company people can trust in a world where so many businesses can take you for a ride. He wants to provide the best experience possible. Tom and Jim who did the actual installation were great. They were so nice and had great attention to detail--the trim job was flawless and Tom had the most perfect caulking bead I've potentially ever seen. We couldn't be happier with our new windows. We put a meat thermometer in the window seam the day before the window replacement and it registered at about 25 degrees. We measured the next day--after the new windows were put in--and the temperature was 64 degrees. I would definitely recommend 21st Century Windows to anyone who wants a solid, reliable product.

We were very happy with the installation of our windows upstairs two years ago. Not only did they install the windows, but they added some can insulation to an area below the window, which has made a dramatic difference in our perception of warmth in our bathroom. The bathroom used to feel very cold in the winter, but now it is warmer. The company also installed patio doors, but the locking mechanism on the doors never worked correctly. We had to use the kick lock to lock the doors. However, due to our busy schedules, we didn't contact the company until two years later, but the company honored their warranty and fixed the door locks with no hassle. We have been very happy with the patio doors because they have also made our kitchen nook feel warmer, and they are much clearer to view our backyard. We highly recommend Century 21 Windows and Sunrise windows.

Mark is one of the best service providers we’ve ever had work on our house. From the start, he was dedicated to providing us the highest quality customer service possible. He is experienced, knowledgeable, creative, responsive, and willing to work with his clients. His installation team (Tom and Jim) was amazingly skilled, thorough, committed to excellence, and attentive to detail. We were impressed with how diligently all three of them approached their work and how they enjoyed doing it. Mark doesn’t just sell and install windows – he looks at the whole house and identifies ways to create extra value for his customers. When he was walking around our house to inspect the garden window from the outside, he noticed large gaps between our chimney and the house. Mark pointed out that it was really important to get that fixed before a forecasted heavy storm began. He immediately quoted us a very favorable price for both a temporary and permanent fix. When we agreed, he climbed a ladder and began filling the gap even though the ladder wasn’t tall enough and he had to stretch to reach the top. Talk about going the extra mile! As soon as the weather permitted, Mark and Tom brought a longer ladder and completed a permanent fix that is both functional and attractive. Mark treated us with respect and didn’t try to sell us on something we didn’t want. Even our cat really liked him. We love our garden window and would definitely use Mark again if we were to replace any other windows. We understand he’s won a customer service award for several years. We’re happy to report that based on our experience, those awards were well-deserved.

I asked for quote on Angie's List. Someone then called me, and we had a long conversation about windows. The person also spent quite a long time complaining about their phone, and I had to guide them back to the topic of windows. They said they would call and schedule a weeknight time to come by during the next week, probably at 5:30pm some night. Then the same person called during the week. They seemed to forget we had spent quite a while talking only a few days previously, until I reminded them. They said they couldn't do a weekday any more. I told them I couldn't talk for long, but they went on again for a long time about how they didn't like their phone. Maybe they were on a vendetta and trying to convince me never to buy an iphone? I directed the conversation back to windows, since I didn't have much time to talk. But they wanted to go over everything all over again. They seemed hesitant to come to Ann Arbor unless I was certain that I would hire them to replace the windows, and further didn't seem to want to come unless both my wife and I were home at the same time. I tried to say that wasn't necessary, and that I just wanted to schedule a quote. They said Saturday at 1, and I cut the conversation off, since it had been going on for quite a while. Then I texted to confirm, and they said that they couldn't come on Saturday any more. They didn't apologize.

Based on a glowing recommendation from our neighbor (that had 21 Century Window replace their windows), we hired Mark and 21st Century Window to replace all of the windows plus our skylights. Mark took the time to thoroughly go over all of the options for windows and helped us choose the right ones for our home. His price was very competitive and the windows have a lifetime warranty. Mark and his team were very professional and paid incredible attention to detail - from framing out with trim, insulating with foam, trimming with caulk and cleaning up after they were done - we could not have asked for a better experience. We love our new windows and would highly recommend Mark and his team at 21st Century Window!

My Sunrise windows were installed 3 years ago with 21st Century. We had puddling on our window sill after the big ice storm so I called the owner and he came right out and fixed the problem, which was some failure in the caulk around my big picture window. While I’m here I might as well report that the Sunrise windows have been a great product. I’ve seen big savings in energy bills.

Mark was the consummate professional in every facet of this job. He went above and beyond my expectations and saved us hundreds of $$$$$. Would recommend and expect to use in the future.
