As I said, I contacted you through Angies list and gave you a bad number. You emailed me. I then called you and gave you a correct number. We discussed what I needed done. You told me at that time a field tech would contact me, usually withiin 24 hours but up to 48 hours. Two weeks later, which is nowl almost two months later, I have not been contacted by a field technician to schedule a appointment for a estimate. What facts are you trying to get straight Mark? I was very clear in my review that you emailed back two days later. Your very good a putting a spin on what was said.

Mark contacted us within 24h of receiving our request through Angie's List email. We set up a time for the appraisal the following week. No one showed up for the appointment and we had not receive a phone call 24h later.

It was very positive! We received what I thought was a very competitive price after a number of estimates and the workmanship was outstanding! The installers did a wonderful job in some very difficult areas of the house. The owner of the company was extra attentive; he came out and gave us extra things on the job. My wife and I were very pleased! There is no question I would hire them again!

They promised what they delivered and I was satisfied with their work. They got the work done and it was the same dollar amount as on the contract.

The owner was good to work with. The gentlemen who came out did a good job and they were very polite and did good work. They were working on a very old house and had to take some care with the wood that had rotted and things had to be replaced. Overall I was very satisfied with them. The price seemed reasonable and everything was done on a timely basis. We have two very good windows now

5.5 years ago I purchased a home with outdated roof (almost everything). At a time, the house inspector told me that I can get approximately 5 more years out of the existing roof. Few weeks ago I realized that his estimate was quite right. In the past couple months the area was struck with lots of rain and snow; and few weeks ago I noticed a minor leak on a second floor master bedroom ceiling and new the time has come to have the roof replaced. I browsed out few companies on Angie?s website where I found 21st Century Window as well. On 2/1 (Friday) called few contractors around 5 pm and 21st Century Window was the only one that picked up the phone. Spoke to rep and arranged a visit for next day Saturday. Clint, sales rep came out, we set down where I explained the scope and urgency of work to be done. He ran the numbers and provided quote. I thought about the numbers for couple days, felt comfortable with the cost of the roof project (I will have few more) that was within my budget, and I decided to go with 21st Century. Called Clint back, setup another appointment (2/5), he brought samples, where I made decision about the product and color. The following Saturday (2/9) I met the owner, Mark where I explained my expectations for the roof project as well as for the other interior home improvement projects. He listened and then walk me through the entire process. Very professional and detailed oriented person. Due to the urgency of the minor roof leak, he came out the following Tuesday (2/12), patched the weak roof area, and let me know that his crew will be coming out the following Saturday to perform the work. On Friday (2/15), while I was at the work his team delivered shingles and wood panels, set them on roof tops and got everything ready to begin the following morning. On 2/16 Mark?s team came out at 7:45 am, I left the house at 8:15 (the whole day training), and returned at 6:30 pm. When I returned, everybody was gone, new roof installed, and everything around the house cleaned up?and it was snowing. This is my first experience working with a contractor on a major home improvement project (since when I purchased the home; mostly my friends helped me out with minor house improvement work) and I am glad I ran into Mark. I reached out to 21st Century Windows on 2/1 and on 2/16 had new roofs installed on both, house and a garage. It has been only few days, but my roofs look good and no more leaking. Mark?s team will be returning in couple weeks to start on house interior project as well.

Mark and his crew are professional. Communication with Mark was excellent when he scheduled an appointment he/his crew arrived on time. Great contractor to work with.

It took several phone calls and approx 2 months for them to come out to my house, probably due to volume of workload at that time per contractor. He however did a good job of caulking some gaps found in my siding, sliding door and foundation. However, I think that the amount I paid exceeds the services that was rendered.

Pretty good. The estimate was fair. Mark the owner came out and was real friendly, punctual, good communicator and gave great tips and advice. Felt like it was good interaction.

The windows are great. From the top to the bottom. Mike the sales men was very professional, personable, and I didn't think he was trying to sale us on anything. The gentlemen who installed were great and professional. The follow up in December was great. Overall really good experience.

I cannot tell you how happy I have been with Mark and 21st Century Window, but I'm going to try. The quoting process was painless and I found it to be very detailed. Mark was not pushy like many of his competitors can be, and was willing to really listen to what it was we wanted. He offered multiple solutions for the problems we had in our house and was patient with us while we made up our minds. The installation process was pretty straight forward. When the windows and doors come in, they call and schedule a time with you. Pretty standard stuff. Mark and his team required two trips due to some manufacturing delays during the holiday season to complete the job. Being a but of a perfectionist, I voiced some very minor things to Mark that I wanted done differently after the initial install. This is where Mark really excels in my opinion. He will not call the job complete until my wife and I were 100% happy with his work. I would definitely use 21st Century Window again and have already recommended them to friends.

Not well. He walked around the house and said we had everything in excellent condition and there was really nothing for him to do. He never came into the house.

This company couldn't have been more helpful. From my conversations with the owner to the work performed, I was extremely satisfied. I told the owner after the work was performed that I could already tell our house was warmer and had less drafts. Looking back on last year's heating bill vs. the previous year, it was a proven result. We saved a bunch of money on our heating bills. Thank you 21st Century!!! Highly recommended.

I ordered this Deal because I needed a front and back door along with storm doors purchased and installed on my house. We were in contact with the owner over the year but we didn't communicate well as to what was expected. He told us to go to Home Depot and purchase the doors and he would install them. When we did purchase a door in October we called him to schedule a date to have it installed along with the other doors we were purchasing. He stated that it would be too expensive for him to install all the doors and to have Angie's list give me a refund as he was overbooked. He was very nice but I think the Big Deal concept was not what he expected

In the past have had poor experiences with contractors thus the reason for Angie's List. Found 21st Century Windows through Angie's List (very high ratings) and contacted company. Spoke with owner, Mark Teufel and he provided me with over the phone proposal - even matched a competitors price. Had a 4 man crew remove old doorwalls and install 5 new Marvin Integrity Doorwalls. A few small issues and company immediately fixed. Mark called us to make sure we were happy with job. He was extremely professional and courteous. Will definitely call on him when ready to do the rest of our windows.

The experience went great. It was not a simple job but they really worked with us to make sure that everything turned out just right. The price was reasonable. The owner was very hands on and made sure the job was being completed correctly. They showed up on time and completed the job in the time frame they said they would. I am just extremely pleased with their service.

Mark, the owner, provided great service in the original installation and recent servicing. Two years later I would expect it to be harder to get good service from a product that needed repair. Mark responded quickly and ensured us of our lifetime guarantee. It is hard to find a good company who will stand by their work like Mark did. Needless to say, he added additional courtesies, such as resealing a door jam at no cost, increasing his great customer service. I would highly recommend the small and reliable company.

I had spent almost 2 months trying to get a quote done for a window installation along with a new roof and gutter. There was little to interaction from the owner Mark. I initiated contact with this company due to the reputation on Angie's List - sadly was disappointed with the less than communicative approach from the company. When asked for a breakdown of costs, I just received a total - no detailed description of what I was paying for. I had been totally prepared to spend good cash on a number of jobs...shame! I'll find someone who does want my business and is not just interested in hiking up prices or the bottom line!

They had excellent service, both prior to and during the job. The owner of the company, Mark, actually did some extra things that went above and beyond the contract, which was very appreciated. Overall, the work and craftsmanship were excellent.

Mark was very helpful, completely honest about what he could do and when, and responsive to all our queries. My father had a large bathroom window that needed replacing. Other contractors gave quotes and never followed up or didn't want to take on the work because it wasn't a big enough job. My siblings and I had to organize this long-distance and Mark was great about dealing with us - trust me, it's not easy dealing with my family! He gave a good quote, ordered the window, came out and installed it with his guys in two days. The work had to be put off initially because of the hot weather, and Mark let us know - no false promises, never kept my father waiting unnecessarily. I have yet to see the finished product, but my father is a perfectionist and he's happy with the result. A very happy experience all around.

Mark Teufel (owner) came and gave an estimate. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgable. His crew was very prompt and took care to cover everything where they had to walk and work. The work was done in a timely fashion and we are VERY pleased with the results. We have an upstairs bedroom and before the work was done we often could not sleep up in it because of cold in winter and heat in summer. Now we can sleep up there in all but the most extreme temperatures of summer, but a small air conditioner will take care of that. We are very happy with the work 21st Century did for us and we highly recommend them.

Purchased coupon ($99 for 3 hours handyman service). It took several weeks between initial phone call for scheduling work, to when the actual work could be performed (they canceled on me twice, I canceled on them once). They initially had the tech to come out to my house to investigate the work which needed to be performed, including him determining what color of caulk to use for the job (almond/tan color). The tech was prompt on the service date. Made the repairs, was done in less than the 3 hours and asked if there was other work he could perform (we had him do some additional caulking in the kitchen). The tech appeared to do a good job and cleaned up after himself. But in a couple of days the caulk was coming apart at all locations where he removed and installed! Plus he used the wrong color (used white caulk when he specifically came out to the house prior for determining the proper color to use - almond). I have never seen caulk come apart this quickly! We took all precautions per their recommendations (don't use the shower for 2 days, etc.). I will never use 21st century again due to this poor repair. Date: 8/23/14: Contrary to response from 21st Century Window, they never tried to contact me "to make things right". From the horrible job they did, no trust, would never allow them in my house again.

Mark came to our house to give us an estimate. He arrived on time and was friendly, knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. In giving the estimate, Mark did not pressure, manipulate or intimidate us. Mark explained everything that we wanted to know. Everything Mark said he would do, he put in writing on our contract. As the work was progressing, we spoke with Mark on the phone or in person and he gave a status or scheduled the next task. If Mark would be delayed, he called in advance and explained why. His reasons were always acceptable -- either the weather or unexpected issues with another job. Since my husband and I work, Mark worked around our schedule. Mark's work crew was professional, covered our carpet with drop cloths, removed their shoes in the house, and cleaned up every day before leaving. Two places where Mark went "above and beyond" was in replacing our door wall and in removing a black stain from the siding on the chimney. Our original door wall had not been installed properly, looked bad, was very hard to open and close, and the lock on it was not secure. Mark was able to supply us with an Andersen door wall at a reduced price. Also, when installing the door wall, he re-squared and re-leveled the wall opening for the door wall. In order to remove the black stain -- which was on the white siding all the down the length of the chimney -- Mark took a lot of time and did a lot of manual labor. In summary, Mark treated us with respect and honesty and he cared about doing a good job. This is something that is hard to find and something we really appreciated. When we first met Mark he asked us what our concerns were. We answered that we wanted a quality job and a reasonable price; Mark kept these concerns in mind and definitely met our concerns! As a nice, side benefit my husband and I got to know Mark, and he got to know us.

It was not cheap, but was less than I expected. I was very happy with the results.
