Experience was OUTSTANDING!!!!! Other local businesses (early Sunday morning) would not answer my calls or took forever to call back. They wanted an arm & leg to come out! When I requested help from Servicemagic, within 30 seconds Sam called!!!!!!! He came out immediately and got my system running again. No hard sell and extremely reasonable rates. I talked with him over 2 hrs and decided on a new furnace (no pressure). He called to confirm the date of installation and called me when he was on his way to install. He is my main man now for heating & cooling concerns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They came on the days they said they would! He was very thorough about the equipment (type) and helped me pick the best one for my needs! And before they left, they made sure I knew how to operate the system properly! So satisfied!

He didn't show up when promised, came the next day. After looking at my furnace told me it was the computer board, I ordered one online at a cost of $111.78 not the $400.00 to $500.00 quoted. That was not the problem, had another heating cooling company out and they discovered it was a limit switch at a cost of $25.00. Needless to say I will not ever be recommending Sams heating and cooling to anyone... (very disappointed). I do service on water treatment equipment and do understand that a wrong diagnosis can happen, but to tell a customer it will be as costly as was quoted and to find out it was not infact the part mentioned. OMG whats next

They came on a Sunday, on time, did a fine job and were VERY nice. I called again with a question and was answered promptly and efficiently. I will call them again when needed and would definitely recommend them for service.

There was a mis-understanding, and I must assume a share of the responsibility for it. I thought they would actually check the furnace, adjust the burners, and clean the heat exchanger and blower motor, etc. The reality was they where there only to inspect the furnace for proper function, and recommend any additional servicing that they noticed. Although we discussed this, before they came, it was not made clear that this was just an inspection. I already knew both furnaces were fully functional. I stopped the work after the first of 2 furnaces, and was charged $69.95 - more than half of the $109 estimated charge for 2 furnaces.

Technician was very knowledgable and friendly and took care of the issue quickly. The only thing that I can fault is that the appointment was scheduled between 4 and 6, and he called at 6 to say that he was just finishing up a job and would be on his way shortly, and didn't show up until 6:40.
