During the furnace inspection/cleaning the squirrel cage fan gad to be replaced. I gave the ok to replace and he measured and went back to south lyon to pick one up. He returned and installed, it was to big and said he had to go back and get the correct one. He returned and installed the correct ons e and completed his work. I thought that part of the inspection was to make sure the humidifier was working when furnace turned on. I still can not see any water going thru media when furnace is running. Also when i pre filled the info on the web site I stated that I needed to leave for work by 1 pm. I was 2 hrs late because of the additional trip

Professional, punctual, and focused. My only problem was I had trouble excessing the humidifier to add water conditioner tablets. I resolved this by spraying a small amount of W-D Forty around the edge of (lift up cover) type lid.

We were charged a total of $400.00 for parts ($195) & labor for 15-20 min job/warranty for 1-year ($205), I feel this was a bit overpriced, but like all repairs, we the consumer are at the expert's mercy. He quickly determined the problem, and even had the part in his truck. I wonder if this was planned or just luck. Contrary to the many other reviewers trusting Sam's, I say: Please be careful if you use this company!

Repairman arrived punctually and diagnosed the problem immediately. He replaced a capacitor on my 3 1/2 ton AC. It took him approximately 10 minutes and he was done. I do believe I was charged an excessive amount for the part which I know retails for far less. I also understand the overhead markup for doing business, and I still feel strongly the price of the part was way too much. When I asked why so high, I was told becuse of the labor charge. There was no labor;a couple of screws and attach several wires.

The response (phone call) couldn't be faster -- and it was on a weekend day (when most bad things happen of course). He also physically showed up at my door in 15 minutes. He was very quick at identifying the problem and fixing it, and he also explained it to me (since I'm naturally curious). The total price was about the same as I would have to pay the company that originally installed it just to come out and see it (since it's considered an emergency). I'm very glad that somebody understands that just about every heating/cooling or plumbing job is an emergency, and is willing to charge a fair amount. I'm keeping this phone number.

Took 28 hours to respond to my A/C problem. It was worth the wait. They did an excellent job in finding the blown fuse. They also found out that the wiring was loose, which would have caused another blown fuse if they didn't tighten the wiring in both the fuse box and the main power box. They cleaned the central air unit well, and gave good advice. Sam and Brent did a fine job.

Sam responded quickly, and came out to the house as scheduled. I thought that the service was a bit pricy. The problem with contractors is that once they charge you the $40.00 service charge and the $25 diagnostic fee, it's tough to get a second opinion, because you will be charged for that too. The service was timely. After spending over $500 to replace the blower motor, I thought that an additional charge of $170 to steam clean the blower fan blades was a bit steep.
