Brent came out to look at our a/c unit, we were sure it was the compressor but it turned out to be the capacitor - very good work, great price, saved us a bunch of money. We will hire them again for any future problems.

The serviceman was knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. We were impressed and are recommending this company to our daughter.

I was able to receive same day response. I called them in the morning and they told me they could come out that afternoon. I asked for an estimate and they gave me as much info as they could without actually being here to see the problem and troubleshoot the system. There was no emergency service charge for same day service.

My advice would be NOT to consider using Sam's Comfort Heating and Cooling for any kind of HVAC service whatsoever. Their service person supposedly performed their $89.95 "Air Conditioning System Annual Maintenance" service. However, the serviceman never entered the basement to check anything on the inside unit e.g. pressure drop or temperature gradient across the coil, condition of air filter, etc. The only evidence of any work done was some cleaning of the outside condenser unit. When the serviceman left after less than 30 minutes he said that "everything was running fine and system was working well". By evening of that day, it was very apparent that system was NOT working well , and we subsequently had to call a different company who - as I observed every step of the service, checked every part of the system, found that we WERE low on Freon (as I had suspected in the first place). All told, the approximately 2 hours and the very professional approach taken by the second service person highlighted to me what a rip-off the "service" from Sam's actually was. Caveat Emptor!

They came quickly and got the furnace working again which we appreciated. It does not sound like it is working correctly, there is much more noise in the fan than ever before. We will contact another HVAC company to take a look and fix this correctly
