Description of Work: Bought $160 Angies list special because I thought I had squirrels in my house. CJB came out and did inspection and determined I had mice. At first inspector was unsure if they did mice. He made good suggestions about baiting and sealing the house. CJB called me a few days later and said they could take care of my mouse problem. I agreed and they came out and put down bait. I talked with the technician and explained I would be out of the country for 2 weeks and if that would be enough time for the bait to work and then I would seal up the house. He said that that would be fine. While I was gone CBJ came by to inspect the bait and traps. They did not tell me that this would happen. My son, who was house sitting paid them $45 for the inspection that I had no idea about. I called them when I got home about the unexpected visit and charge. I was told that they always have to check for activity around bait and traps. They are coming Friday to remove their equipment. I feel this was nothing but a bait and switch. I was not informed of and I did not agree to the excessive non-ending $45 check ups. I would recommend anyone do business with this company.

Description of Work: Purchased a special deal for rodent control. We were hearing something in the attic. The rep did a full inspection of the house including the attic. He completed everything that was offered in the package. He was professional and knowledgeable. We had no entry way from the ground level which would have been sealed per the deal. The entry way was from the roof which was not included. For the price, I wish they had sealed the roofing vent. This will require finding someone else to do the job. Seemed like a simple fix but not included in the details so I really can't complain. The price was okay. I thought a little high. Overall, the problem has been taken care of and we are happy.

Description of Work: Set out poison for mice in locations my pet could not access, and sprayed 2x for fleas, each a month apart. Mice are gone for good, and fleas were gone after second spraying, which was probably necessitated by the fact that upstairs tenants did not allow spraying. |There was a 10 day delay in getting the service done as the business was very busy due to the high level of the flea population last year, as confirmed by my vet. The second treatment appeared to knock them out better because a growth regulator was added which keeps the fleas from reproducing after they hatch but before they die from contact with the other treatment, especially since the eggs can lay dormant for months before hatching! This probably should have been done at the outset, but was added in response to my complaints that the first treatment wasn't doing the job well enough, fast enough. Unfortunately, I did have to wait 30 days after the first spray for that second treatment, which meant it took that much longer to resolve the problem! So, make sure that you ask about applying both at your first treatment!! | |As the time period (7 - 9 months) for keeping the fleas at bay has expired, I have noticed a slight reappearance of them off and on. This could be due to my dog and I bringing them with us from outside as the weather has warmed, although he has had flea treatment every month. This probably means that I will need to treat the front and back yards soon as well as retreating some spots in my home where my dog hangs out. I may attempt to do both these treatments myself, with flea treatment from my vet, as the commercal treatment costs $160, plus an additional charge for the second spray, and their chemicals leave a very strong smell for a period of time even after airing out the flat. | |This business eventually resolved what had quickly become a major issue for me, and did it professionally by responding to my feedback, within the legal parameters and time frames the application of such chemicals allows. If this issue became as severe again, I would definitely use them again. My advice is to get it done as soon as you have exhausted the usual remedies like pet treatment and pet store or vet sprays. Don't wait!!
