They never contacted me to come out and do the service.
Description of Work: I had been hearing scratching in a bedroom wall. They came out and inspected the attic, as well as doing an outdoor inspection around the house. It was determined that I have birds between the siding and the wall. I have booked them to come back out and replace the corner caps and a couple of other things that were recommended.

When we do an inspection we advise the customer of what the problem is and what needs to be done. We always advise our clients to call and set up an appointment if they would like the work done. We showed no return calls from her after the inspection was done. We did leave a message after the initial visit to call us for an appointment.

Description of Work: We suffer from elder bug invasion at our house. CBJ came out 2 days after I called and sprayed our entire interior and exterior. Within 10 days, all elder bugs getting in our house were dead and we haven't seen anything since. I would highly recommend their services.

We have used CJB several times for squirrels and chipmunks. They have always been great to work with. It has been a bit frustrating that we've had continual problems, but I don't know that they could have done anything different. The animals just keep finding new places to break into our house.

Brandon was the gentleman who came to service our home. He did a great job by spraying the entire master bedroom and adjacent room and hallway. He also gave us bed bug traps and told us that he will be back in two weeks for a second treatment. We noticed a lot of dead bugs in the first 10 days, and they eventually disappeared. So far, we have not had any problems. CJB guarantees their work for 3 months, but Brandon said that if we still have problems after that, they may consider coming out for free. We had a great experience, and highly recommend anyone to use CJB's services.
Description of Work: We had called CJB Pest Control to report a bed bug problem (we did so for many other companies) - compared to some of the other companies, theirs was the lowest bid. We were initially skeptical because the competitors had told us that companies with lower bids (such as CJB) seem attractive but they will not perform a quality job and we will end up regretting our choice. We made sure to ask detailed questions with the individual at CJB, regarding what chemicals they use, what guarantee they provide, how long the treatment will take, and what we will need to do. Their response seemed very reasonable and sounded like they knew what they were talking about. So we decided to have them come over to spray the chemical. We had to make sure that we washed, dried and packed all our clothes and linen, and vacuumed the home thoroughly. It took us about a day to do this. We disassembled our bed and separated the frame members in preparation for CJB's visit.

Came out and set a trap in the attic, a few days later I go and check it and it was on its side with the food gone. We contact the company and they come out the next day. They set another trap and I check it 1 week later and the food is gone and the door is closed with the cage on its side.
Description of Work: Twice they left traps in the attic, which the animal (squirrel or racoon) was able to get the food and escape the cage/trap. The charge over $100 dollars just to set the trap and then another $50ish if they catch one. How about a refund if they cant catch any???

The customer in this case does not understand the pricing (or what they eventually needed) The cost of a detailed exterior inspection to let the homeowner know where they are vulnerable to wildlife/rodents getting into a home, inspect the attic for signs of nesting, setting up of the trap, and for 30 days worth of trapping (includes any return visits within the 30 days) was $119 after her discount, then $50 per animal removed. That is a very good price. We were out 5 days after the initial trap was set and we noticed the bait was gone and the trap was tripped. When this happens it is because there is mice in the home as well (they can squeeze into the openings of a live trap and get the bait/trip the trap) We advised her of this but reset the trap anyway for squirrels. We then went back after a week and noticed the same thing (with mice droppings around the trap) She said to just pick up the trap because they had sealed the openings themselves. So we picked up our traps. Advised her of what is going on. She obviously thought she could do things herself. Don't understand why she is giving a sub par review. She wants a refund? So we evaluate the house, set the traps accordingly (because all signs originally pointed to squirrels) , do 2 follow ups and she thinks she is entitled to a refund? We advised her that what she paid so far we could apply to a mice treatment but they said they were done. (In rare cases, some homes can have signs of past squirrel infestations. Stored walnuts, pine cones, etc.. So when we set the traps it was based on evidence in the attics). When we returned for the first follow up we advised her of the possible mice problem because squirrels cannot remove the bait and trip the trap without getting caught. We did the best we could with the evidence presented to us, then when we noticed something else needed to be done they declined and said sealing off the openings themselves would take care of it. I am sorry if she didn't catch squirrels when her problem eventually was mice. Which they declined to get treated.

CJB was courteous, friendly and very professional from the first call. They came when they said they would come and quoted a reasonable offer for the work they performed. I am selling my house and a potential buyer just had an inspection don e on my home and they found absolutely nothing wrong both inside and out. There was no mention of any problem with ants or my deck. CJB is definitely on my list for my new home.
Description of Work: CJB technicia n treated my wooden deck and the back of my house for C ants. Granulates were placed under the deck and rear of home was also treated so that no ants can come into the house.

Problem resolved for the most part, you keep a 30 day log of where and the number of ants found and where, I am having windows replaced in that area they will come back same day to make sure all if any nest may have been in the wall will be sprayed that day, have alittle ant action on lower deck that they have noted. Good company they are available quickly and very professional, glad I called them. Price was somewhat higher than others but they give you a 6 month warrenty, other did not offer that. Most were 30 days.

They are willing to come in on an as needed basis. IT definitely work sand works for a couple of years. They have taken care of bee’s nests that are in places we can’t get to or are too dangerous for us to deal with. They have inspected for carpenter ants as well and give us instructions on how to watch for the carpenter ants. We are always satisfied with their service.

They were very good and very thorough. Some squirrels got in and made a big nest. They went and found different areas and they pinpointed all these different areas. They came when they said they would be here. They responded very quickly. They were very professional and they even covered their boots.

I was very happy with their service. the representative was on time, thorough and knew what he was doing. He took his time and did all that was promised with extra courtesy additions. For example, he refilled two of my mice baits on his own and I really appreciated that. this will make me a repeat customer and I'm pretty picky. I don't know yet if all the spraying will work since it was done today, but I feel good about what they did. I'll keep u posted if I feel that results were not up to par. however I was compelled to write the report because I'm a proponent of customer satisfaction and Brandon, (i think thats his name) he did his job well. the company was also recommended to me by another company that did not service my area. That was also a good sign. Also their reviews on angies list were good. finally, the owner I spoke with was patient and knowledgable and he showed interest in obtaining my business. results are guaranteed six mo this.
Description of Work: Treated for pavement ants and spiders indoor all downstairs, basement and bathrooms upstairs. garage too. Will come back in Spring to treat outside.

Sprayed for bugs, particularly carpenter ants -- which were just evil this year due to the mild winter. Did a great job. You won't see any creepy, crawly things after they do their work. The ants were all over the place and I haven't seen a single one since they were here.
Description of Work: We have always used CJB to get rid of our bugs and we live in the woods. They spray for spiders, bees, wasps, ants and even woodpeckers. They do an excellent job. They show up on time (which is very important) and they are very, very thorough. They will make recommendations (such as caulking or moving firewood) to keep pests away from your home. The office people are very nice and very flexible in appointment setting, too.

They have helped me out with carpenter ants. They are very persistent and detailed. They had me counting ants in different parts of the house. They kept coming until they were gone. It took them three years. After my first year, I didn’t have to pay anymore, because they didn’t get it the first time. They didn’t get it the second time. It wasn’t because they didn’t try, but they drilled holes in the wall and did all kinds of things. They were very persistent and seemed extremely knowledgeable. They got rid of them and I have never had a problem since. They are terrific. It was $350 when they first came out, but I knew that I had to get rid of these ants. So, I just did it. Their agreement was that they would come until they were gone. The technicians who came out were wonderful. They were very professional, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Description of Work: We had carpenter ant issues 10 years agos and they got rid of them for us and we have not had an issue since. We live by a wetlands and so we have insect and critter issues every year. They have been helping us with carpenter bees and wasps ever since. They come and out and spray and we have 0 issues the rest of the spring and summer. Today they did an insect repellant treatment and carpenter bee treatment.
