I spoke to Monica several times and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about a replacement system. The techs who put in the system were very friendly and knowledgeable and did an excellent job. They took the time to answer all my questions. I would recommend the company.

As usual a great job. Monica in the office was quick to reply and the service guy found it was time for replacing a 20 year old unit. It took a week in the middle of a heat wave while other neighbor was waiting a month for another contractor.. The replacement guys were on time, worked as a coordinated team, as well as being friendly (even to the dogs). Total clean up . In 3-4 hours an entire replacement pumping cool air.These guys are the best!

There's nothing worse than the A/C failing the first time it gets really hot. Monica replied quickly, and Don was out on time. We anticipated a big problem since this was a rental property and the previous renter had "fixed" the furnace on his own, which affected the A/C Don fixed it with an alternative repair that both cooled down the house and saved money. He came in under budget. Again KTM to the rescue!.I just can't say enough about these guys.......

A very good experience. As can happen here in Michigan, the first time it got real cold outside,my furnace came on, but didn't seem to heat well although it would cycle. Monica from the office called promptly after I contacted KTM via Angie's list and set an appointment with another prompt second call. A service call was set between 12 and 3 the following day. Don the service tech showed up around 1. He was nice enough to call 1/2 hour before arriving to give us a and quot;heads-upand quot;. On arrival Don was friendly and professional with a neat appearance. He was courteous, but went right to work. My furnace motor would run but not ignite. He went through with the cleaning and checking and when he was finished we had heat again. I'm mechanically inclined so Don took the extra time to explain to me how things worked and also pointed out some simple things I was doing wrong( too many registers closed-thinking it would save energy}. Instead of blasting out the door to the next call, he waited for a number of furnace cycles, while checking for carbon monoxide. I would recommend KTM, Monica, and Don to all. Even though my furnace was not running, I was only charged for the cleaning, which seems to me to be a great way of doing business. I could easily have been charged for a cleaning AND repair, but was not.

Everything went well and quickly. Their workers show up on time and get the job done quickly. Everyone from Monica, who answers the phones to their installers are very friendly.

Well except for the delay of having to go through Detroit Edison to see if they would pay for the repair of the old water heater, everything went well. The same person who installed our A/C in summer put in the new water heater. He was just as friendly and professional as he was the last time. He was done in just a few hours.

I'd had a problem with my furnace earlier in the year (during the winter) and Kevin came out to fix it. I'd asked at that time if he could give me a ballpark figure on what it would cost to replace the furnace and install air conditioning (which I have never had in any place I've ever lived!). He gave me a ballpark of $5,000. After the very mild winter we had here, I was anticipating a really warm summer so I decided to go ahead with the new furnace and air conditioning. I'd had estimates done the year before by several other companies (range $5,000 to $9,000) so I knew roughly what the costs would be. I called KTM Heating and Cooling and asked to have a formal estimate done. Mitch came out the very next day to check things out. The day after that, he called me with a figure. For $5,700, I would get a new furnace and air conditioning. I told him to go ahead but I had a specific date that I would be off of work and wanted to have it done then (2 weeks away). They accommodated my request. On the day of installation, three gentlemen showed up here, on time, and proceeded to remove the old furnace. Another couple guys showed up later in the day with the new equipment. They worked all day long but got the job done in one day. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable (they had to redo some ductwork and drill holes in my basement in order to run the new air conditioning to the outside), and pleasant. They cleaned up after themselves. All old parts were taken away. The job is neat and clean. It's been a month now since the installation of the air conditioning and it's been a godsend. We've had numerous days over 90 degrees and the new Lennox air conditioner has performed beautifully. It was a wonderful investment and the job was done very well. I am very happy with the outcome.

My old furnace was not putting out any heat. I called KTM and was able to get an appointment for someone to come out the next day. Kevin came out, diagnosed it as a non-functioning motor. He was at my home about 45 minutes. Then I left for work. It wasn't until I came home from work that I realized that the motor was running on cycle but it wasn't putting out any heat. I called first thing the following morning and they had Kevin come out right away. Apparently there is a switch in the furnace the allows you to run the furnace on just a 'fan' type mode and he either inadvertently or intentionally had switched it to that setting. He changed the setting back to the 'heat' mode and the furnace began working properly. It's been working properly ever since. The only issue I have is when that motor turns on and the furnace runs, it is noisier than my old one was. You are aware every time the furnace kicks on. Otherwise, I am happy with the timeliness of the service, the quality of the work, the professionalism of the technician, and the price was about what I expected to pay.

They showed us exactly where it had cracked so there was no doubt in our mind that the job had to be done. They were very thorough in explaining what was wrong. They installed the furnace the very next day like they said they would. The guy explained exactly what he was doing. The tech was knowledgeable and they were here when they said they were going to be. They went out of their way because it was cold too. Later, when I went to turn my A/C on I called them and they cleaned it out for me and turned it on for me. I had a couple problems over the past couple of weeks and they came in and fixed it for no charge. I was thrilled. I am just so excited to know of a company that I can trust. After my experience with them for the furnace, I have no qualms about recommending them. The gal at the office takes all the information necessary and keeps the appointments and they are courteous. They let us know exactly what has to be done. What I did pay was also very reasonable. The couple of times they came out I didn't have to pay for the service call, adding Freon and doing whatever they had to do. It's just nice to have a company you can rely on and recommend to someone.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. IT WAS NOT NECESSARILY THEIR FAULT THAT THE FURNACE COULD NOT BE REPAIRED IN JUST ONE SERVICE CALL. IT WAS A HARD PROBLEM TO FIGURE OUT (TRIAL AND ERROR WAS THEIR ONLY OPTION).
