Description of Work: This plumbing company has performed work for me since 2006. My very first encounter envolved a plumber of which for the sake of legalities I'd better not name. He replaced a gas water heater, nicely.... but failed to relight the other gas appliance pilot lights before he left, they were exstinguished during the gas shut down. I had just moved to this home, never having gas appliances before had no clue a how to relight them. I called him when I realized the oversight. He was sarcastic, said he'd be back in the morning. Needless to say it was a long, cold,scarey nigh with all the windows and doors open.. I continued to use this company quite a bit since, but did not allow that plumber back into my home. Berger and King retain, for the most part good plumbers, and I continued to hire them even though the first one was rude, disrepectful and sarcastic. But, now and maybe not the first time, I was over charged by almost $1000.00!!!! and it took two months to get them to even look at the error. They (the owners) two women,... even though the carpenter and my Contractor backed me up about the discrepency, ignored my request to discuss it. Often refusing to take my call. Well after two months they finally agreed to redo the invoice. To their credit they did delete the $980.00 over charge only to add another bogus bill onto the existing and correct amount. Now instead of billing me for $980.00 too much they tacked on another charge for the work that was already charged to me. Now they have over billed me again by increasing the hours that the plumber actually worked. To the tune of $198.00 plus other questionable charges, for a total of almost $300.00 MORE!!!! This they tell me is their final offer. Well, this is.the last time they do anymore work for me. EVER. ..
