Beware! I paid my half down on 6/11, my check cleared my bank on 6/17. To date less than an hours work has been done. Nate came out on 7/2 and worked for less than an hour. He said he needed a ladder and would be back on 7/3, he didn’t show or communicate that he wouldn’t be coming. After a few days passed I message him and he said he would come out on 7/11 & 7/12. I made arrangements to be home and again he no showed with no communication. I contacted him on 7/16 and he said he had an unexpected emergency the last time he was supposed to be out but said he would be out the following week. Arrangements were made for him to come out in the evenings on 7/26 & 7/27, he messaged to say he couldn’t make it on the 26th but would come on the 7/27 & 7/28 and again both days a no show with no communication. I requested a refund to which he agreed and says he will drop off but to date nothing. I don’t appreciate wasting my time and money on someone who isn’t coming. If you value your time, expect communication and want a job done timely then I would steer clear.

The Drywall Guy never completed the work he contracted to do. The work he performed was done improperly and I had to hire other contractors to redo his work. For example, he installed the garage door and opener incorrectly and it would not function. Overhead Door had to reinstall it and said it was put in completely wrong. He also ruined my new storm door and I had to get another one. He installed the exterior door and lock set incorrectly. My new contractor said The Drywall Guy only had 1 screw holding in the entire door. Additionally, he used the wrong siding on the garage and had to replace it. He used cheap junk on the porch ceiling, not what he stated he'd use in the contract. He never finished installing the fence and what was installed was done inadequately - some panels were never attached to the posts. He used nails, not screws, that were popping out in just a few months. The stairs and landing he installed in my mud room was not solid or secure and had to be redone by someone else. My contract with the Drywall Guy stated he'd complete the work in 4 - 5 weeks. It dragged on for over a year and was never finished. The only thing he did well was lie and break his promises. He claims to be a "Christian " business, but clearly does not practice honesty.
Description of Work: Garage repair, privacy fence installed, new stairs and landing in mud room, new overhead garage door and opener, new exterior door and storm door, new porch ceiling

Initially, it didn't seem that there were any problems. He patched up the area in the ceiling and everything seemed fine. However, once the paint had dried, I could tell that the area that he patched was overworked. After a few days, the lines of the drywall began to show up again. I had called him to have him come back out to take a look at the work. I could not reach him to reschedule until 2 years later. We had just rescheduled for him to come out and I had to take time off work for it. He was a no-call, no-show. I called him again after he did not show up and I was able to get a hold of him, I believe he answered my call without realizing it was me. We rescheduled again for a Saturday, and yet again, he was a no-call, no-show. I will never use him again and wanted to make others aware.
Description of Work: I hired him to do a drywall repair on my kitchen ceiling.

I was worried about mold and I asked him to cut out water damaged areas and replace the drywall. He said that he needed to let the mud dry he proceeded and then he left and didn't come back. I contacted him numerous times before I was able to get ahold of him. He gave many excuses and then he had his partner come out to sand down the walls. The partner said that there were gouges and part of it would need to be re-mudded, so he didn't do any work. I tried to get him to come out and I've never been able to get ahold of him again.
Description of Work: Part of our basement had water damage. He promised to repair it in one day.

1. The Drywall Guy did not attach the light switch and elec outlets before he installed the new drywall in the bath. 2> He lost the bathroom tub fixtures and blamed it on us. 3. He did not cut any access holes for the fixtures in the tub surround. 4. He did not chalk to keep water from damaging the new drywall in the bathroom 5. He did not install the door knobs correctly and the doors wood not open or close 6. He did not sand or scuff up the gloss on the trim before painting 7. He did not prime new drywall compound before painting 8) He painted over coaxial cable and ruined it 9. He painted over wet walls in the basement after I told him to change the faucet that was leaking 10. He painted over peeling paint on the garage as well as rotted wood 11. He installed a new steel door on the garage and left large holes where birds and rodents could get in 12. He left tape on the garage window that took 30 minutes to scrape off after it was in the weather 13. He allowed his crew to close all cupboard doors and drawers after painting only to have them dry shut where they had to be forced open ruining the paint 14. He and his crew left junk and empty cans everywhere in and outside of the house I am considering a lawsuit against The Drywall Guy. I've owned rental properties for 30 years and never experienced anything quite this bad. He insulted my wife and called her a liar.He hides behind his religious convictions and preys on good people by asking for large deposits and going on to the next job. When he does finally come back to finish the work he rushes it and does not finish what was agreed upon. He is the worst business man I've ever encountered and I hope you can stop him from ripping off others. Craig McGlothlen
