Horner House Interiors

Horrible when there was a problem. Cathy stated the issue would be taken care of in July at no cost. It is November and the hole in my floor remains. Cathy hasn’t returned phone calls and screens calls from known numbers.

It was excellent. Careful attention to detail. Cleaned up thoroughly. Beautiful job.

We are happy with the quality of the flooring. Next time we call Horner House, we will be much more clear with our directions. We asked for carpet samples in grays. We ordered and paid for a multiple-color carpet with grays and tans. Cathy found a higher quality carpet at the same price and took the liberty of changing our order. She told me after she ordered it that I could change it but because she said it was one I had looked at before - a higher quality carpet - I assumed it would be within the color family I was looking at (gray). We had already painted most of our home gray. When the carpet arrived for installation, it had no gray at all. It was a taupe color. We decided to go with it because it is a very nice, thick, high-quality carpet. I just wish we would have communicated better. We also had a miscommunication with the vinyl flooring. Cathy measured and quoted us a price that we felt was too high. When we called her to tell her the price was too high and that we were going to look elsewhere, she told us that the vinyl was already cut and in her van. She decided to match the price of the flooring that was within our price range. That was a huge relief! Overall, we just felt that communication could have been much better. Cathy is looking out for the best deals for her customers. She really seemed to care about our projects and our time. I think it is clear that she is a great decorator/designer. Her customers just need to be diligent about communication in order to avoid any problems.

The service was very good and I will use them again in the future.

The blinds look great and are of high quality. They installed them while I was away and locked the door when they left. I definitely would use Horner House again.

My husband and I went to Horner House to get an estimate for tile flooring. Cathy the owner was friendly and very helpful. She came to our house right away and measured and got me the estimate within a couple of days. We decided to go with that estimate and she scheduled the job within a week. Pat Combs was the installer and he was professional and punctual every day. It took 8 days to do the entire job. I was very happy with the job. They even helped moving the appliances in and out in order to put the tile where the appliances sit. That included the washer and dryer. I would definitely go back to Horner House for flooring or other decorating needs.. Cathy does interior decorating, carpet and vinyl flooring.
