Description of Work: I was very impressed when I had Sparks & Sommers put insulation in my walls. They were prompt, clean and honest. That's where the good ends. I called them a few months ago to get an estimate on a garage roof and new front porch. I traded phone messages with Rick, the owner about an estimate, but we could not connect. He showed up one morning as I was leaving for work. I asked him to leave the estimate in the mailbox. For about 2 weeks, I looked for the estimate. No sign of it. I called the office and talked to Rick's wife. He then called back and insisted he left it. I asked him to send another. His wife gave me a verbal estimate, but I stated I wanted it in writing. After about 2 more weeks, Rick finally returned my call. After I told him I thought he had forgotten about me, he mailed an estimate Evidently , I offended him, because his written estimate was $600 more than the verbal one. I once again called the office for an explanation. Rick's wife said he would call me. I have not heard from them since. I guess they have so much business they don't need my money.
