This company came to my home and tried to charge me 6 or $7,000 to bust up my basement and dig up my backyard. The young man that came had a snake so small it could not go anywhere Underground let alone a sink in a bathroom. I am so sad that companies take advantage of people when they are in desperate need. I hired a new company that came today ran the snake down the middle of the floor like I asked the young man to do and he refused am I drain open right up. They also ran a snake from my main drain to the alley and he said it was nothing in there. Do not use this company for plumbing. They should be ashamed of themselves I am trying to take advantage of customers. I ask for a refund of my $175 for absolutely nothing!

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a repair company. The technician arrived just within the given time frame. While working, he found a possible major leak in one of my bathroom faucets. Told me it was leaking in the wall. He disassembled the sink faucet pipes, called his manager, and was told it would cost $1200. No estimate, just a random price from the manager. I told him: since it was an active leak, I wanted it repaired. Tech told me the manager wanted him to leave because he had other jobs and basically mine was not important enough. Understand, I called and spoke with the manager two days prior. At this time I outlined each repair I wanted to be done in three bathrooms and supplies all parts. Yet, my job took too long and was not important enough for the tech to complete. He left my bathroom sink pipes disconnected. Therefore, I could not use my sink until another plumbing company comes to repair it. I told him since his manager was so upset that he was working at my home he could give me the bill and leave. He called the manager back for the total. The plumber had just told me what my total charges were. The manager then quoted a price off the top of his head that was $90 higher. I asked him to justify the instant price increase. He responded I was being charged a trip fee on top of the service call fee. I responded, really, that is double billing and it still does not equal the amount the tech just told me. The manager again chose a price randomly that was $45 cheaper but made it seem as if I was disputing a legitimate charge. Of course, he never apologized. I agreed to pay the lower charge just to be done with that company. Now I am stuck with finding another plumbing service to complete what was stated by Detroit Furnace. I selected the company because of the high reviews and I have received service from them before for a water heater installation. Wow, what a different experience this time. I say to future potential customers: be careful of hiring this company to do plumbing repairs, although you are paying for their time and service they will not consider your job to be very important.
