Jesse built a new railing and bannister, both turned out very nice. We receive a lot of compliments on it. Jesse worked very fast, cleaned up after himself and completed good quality work. We would definitely hire him again.

I spoke to Jesse on the phone about getting an estimate for building a bathroom vanity. He seemed interested in the job and asked me to send him a drawing, which I did later that evening. A week later, I hadn't heard from him, so I left a voice mail message. Never heard back via email or phone.

Outstanding...from the first introductory meeting thru the estimate process and thru each phase of the job. Jessie commuincated at every step of the project, said what he was going to get doen and got that done each time, worked very well with the other contractors on the job. No detail was left untouched.

Jesse was great to work with. He came out to the house one evening to do an estimate, which he emailed me the following day. He coordinated delivery of the trim to our home about one week before the install date so that we could paint it ourselves (we wanted to custom match some other trim in the house, and didn't want to have to paint after the installation). He arrived punctually on the day of install (a Saturday!) and completed the project within a few hours. The workmanship is excellent and the trim and crown look fantastic.

Jesse at Zischke Builders was great to work with. When we initially approached him about remodeling our kitchen, we had a much larger project in mind (new cabinets, sink, coutertops, the whole 9 yards). In the planning stage he was excellent to work with and his prices for custom cabinetry were competitive with other firms estimates for prefab cabinets. In the end, we decided to scale back our ambitious remodel and Jesse worked with us to put together a great project that was significantly smaller than what he had originally signed on for. He was also great about accommodating our desire to do some of the demolition ourselves. When it came to taking out the load bearing wall, Jesse was sensitive to our wish to preserve the cove moldings on one side of the wall and accommodated that in his plans. He also managed a small miracle when we discovered that the flooring in our house was discontinued. He initially did his best to patch the holes from the wall demolition with only the couple of boxes of material we had on hand. When that didn't work and we decided to tear up the foyer for material, he managed to build a tiled foyer into the budget without breaking the bank. When we had issues with the work of one of the subcontractors, Jesse took responsibility for getting the problems fixed and brought someone in at no additional expense and got the job done right. Our project was finished on time and within budget, despite the hiccups. I would not hesitate to recommend Zischke Builders or hire them again myself.

Excellent! Requested that floor installation be done while we were on vacation and when we returned it installed perfectly and there was nothing to clean up.
