Incredible service. Tom was responsive and quickly diagnosed the issue upon arrival. He was very professional and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Also really appreciated his practical approach by pointing out a rewiring option that would be ideal, but not necessary, and left it with us to decide whether to incur the added expense. All in all, one of the best service experiences I have had in quite some time.

Wireworks arrived on time, performed the work as requested, and charged the agreed upon rate for work performed. No surprises. I like no surprises.

The best experience with a contractor ever. Tom from WireWorks first made adjustments to fit my busy schedule. He set the time and stuck to it. I know what I wanted done and Tom didn't change from that and he gave a clear price list. The day of installation Tom arrived on time with a smile and went right to work. Very professional work that looks great.

We were replacing switches and outlets in our kitchen and lost power to the lights over the basement stairs and the exterior light for our garage. Tom sent an email two days after I purchased the $99.99 deal through Angie's List. He then called me the following day to set up the appointment. He ended up coming on a Friday evening after 5 PM which worked well for us and I was surprised he would be willing to come that late. Tom investigated the switches and ultimately resolved the problem with getting power to the switches where we had lost it. The lights now worked over the stairs. I did notice after I returned home and Tom had left (my wife was there with him) that the exterior light on the garage still wasn't working. I took the switch apart and tightened the wires and it worked. There might have been some confusion on the garage lights between Tom and I but it ended up working out. We were charged an additional $40 dollars for the visit which I assume was for travel and parts (the deal only included labor). Overall, we had a great experience with Tom and he was very nice and did a good job of returning power where we needed it.

First, their Angie's List price was great! Initial consult visit went well. Tom at WireWorks was very professional and knows his business. I checked in on the work during the day and they were working away at the job. I came back after they work was complete and it looked great. I will be calling WireWorks to handle my future electrical needs.

We are remodeling our kitchen and there is a cabinet that needed to be removed that had electrical service. I called Tom in the morning and he was out by that same afternoon and removed the line for us. He left everything clearly labeled in the event we want to run electricity back that way in the future. He was punctual, courteous and fair-priced. I will definitely be using WireWorks for my electrical needs in the future.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Very responsive and respectful individual who listened and gave honest professional recommendations. We will use the service again. Highly recommended for outdoor lighting. We plan to call them again for some indoor electrical work and will post reviews about the experience.

Sent email which was responded to promptly. Tom scheduled the appointment within 3 days. He arrived promptly, and was very professional. We reviewed what I wanted/needed done. One item was ruled out, but the two way fixture was repaired. He was quick, clean and when he left, I had a working two way light. Super happy with the work and would recommend wire works and Tom to everyone!

Called Wireworks out to mount a couple ceiling fans and Tom was there within a couple days. He was punctual, very polite and friendly and cleaned up the area after he was finished. The fans looked great so I called him back out to hang a vanity light in the bathroom and also hang two light on the wall of one of my bedrooms. This consisted of him having to drill out a hole to wire up a second light where there hadn't been any pre existing electrical. He had to drill from the basement up through the wall and it looked like quite a task. After he was finished he swept up every piece of material that hit the floor and the light looked awesome! Super nice guy and definitely my go-to electrician now.

Tom was very responsive to our request for an estimate and provided written detail as to exactly what hardware and services would be provided. He also explained that his crew was on a very big job that would last several weeks. He said the work could be done the middle of September. Well, true to his word, he actually offered us an earlier date than the one we agreed to, but we were not available when Tom could do the work. On the day of the installation, Tom explained his team would be burying the conduit from the house to the shed and the lawn would be put back such that we would not be able to tell any digging had taken place. The job took the better part of the day, but when it was completed everything Tom had promised had been delivered. In addition, to connect our generator takes exactly 3 steps and it doesn't matter in what order they are taken. He used the latest technology to connect the outlets and appliances that will be operated by the generator in case of a power failure. It's all done for us! The lawn was replaced with little indication any digging had been done. Cleanup was complete. We are very happy customers. We are planning some other home improvements that will require electrical work, and Wireworks will be our go-to company.

Tom was very personable and extremely prompt returning my estimate (especially since I had a typo in my phone number that I provided). From my first email for an estimate the job was scheduled and completed in 4 days! He arrived on time ready to complete the job with all necessary materials on board. He helped me decide where the best location for the outlet and completed the entire job in about an hour. (estimate:$200-300... final cost $209). Tom is a great asset to the Lansing Area... Small business with old fashioned customer service yet modern updated knowledge! We will definitely use Wireworks for our future electrical needs.

After Tom gave us a written proposal of the work to be done , we then agreed on a date for the work to be done. Tom and his assocate arrived on time and began work . We had the old fuse box converted over to a up to date breaker system. There was also a new electrical meter installed. They worked together effectively and efficiently. They both seem very knowledgeable of the work that had to be done very friendly and professional . The work took about 8 hours including checking everything to make sure things were working properly but it was well worth it. Tom and his associate cleaned up very well behind any scapes or wiring not needed. We were very pleased with their work....the only problem we had was the inspection taking almost 3 weeks to be approved., but that wasn't Wireworks fault!!!

We live out of state and this is our rental property. Tom understands the difficulty of managing a property from 1000 miles away and is great with helping us out. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. We always use Tom for electrical because he is always willing to help no matter the size of the job and he is reasonably priced. He does excellent work. I would recommend him to anyone!

He replaced interior wiring, added an outdoor fuse box and timer system for a new pool system, troubleshooting various electrical issues in the home, completed installation and wiring for new bathroom lighting and heated fans. Wiring for new interior lighting. The list goes on and on...

This was my first time using Wireworks and my experience was very good. Initially, I called an left a message for the company. I received a call back the next day. I scheduled my appointment a week or so later. He arrived on time, with an assistant, and promptly started the job. Replacing one of the fluorescent fixtures was more complicated than I initially thought, but he handled it with ease. The other fixture, the ceiling fan and the outlet changes went quickly and smooth. In all, he was here for 4 hours or so. He cleaned up after himself, which was appreciated. He also went above and beyond by helping me trim some baseboards with a small saw. That was a very nice gesture on his part! I highly recommend Wireworks! I will use this company again!

This is probably the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. My house is old (built in 1938) and I am the third owner. When I bought the house three years ago, I began to uncover several issues that needed to be addressed. My basement flooded a few months ago, and as a result, all of the cupboards and wall paneling had to be torn down and disposed of. That's when I discovered an electrical mess in the walls and ceiling of the basement. I decided to join Angie's List to find an electrical contractor to help me ensure my basement could/would be safe and up to code. I contacted WireWorks, and made an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate, and ultimately hired them to do the work. They were extremely professional, and arrived right at 9am when they said they'd be here. They got to work right away, and did not stop til the job was done. They did such a wonderful job. My basement looks so much better, and I feel so much better knowing that all of the wiring is up to code and is all where it should be. The atmosphere in the basement even feels so much cleaner and organized. I will DEFINITELY hire this company again for any electrical needs. I HIGHLY recommend them and I could not be more pleased with this experience. I was also extremely impressed that I heard no shouting, cursing, or any negative exchanges between any of the guys who were here to work on my house. They were very respectful of me, my pets, and my house. They also did a great job of cleaning up everything as well. These are things I've experienced before, and I did not really care for it. Just thought I'd put that out there in case this is something important to you (the reader) as well.

Our GFCI breaker could not be reset, and all outlets in bathrooms and outside of the house didn't work. I left a message to Tom through Angieslist. He called back shortly and scheduled a service time with us. On the scheduled service day, Tom came on time, and quickly identified and fixed the issue. After the work, he patiently explained what happened and how he fixed it. Also, we were asking him to give us a quote for installing an exhaust fan in the first floor bathroom. After he checked the windowed bathroom, Tom suggested us not to install it because he thought the work would be very costly and may not bring in significant value. My wife and I really appreciate the quality of work and advice provided by Tom. Now, I have his contact in my favorite list and would recommend him to everyone!

He was on time, courteous and found the problem within 15-minutes. Faulty outdoor wiring was the problem.
