All of the electricity went off in my place around 6:45 pm. I called consumer's energy and they did send a represeantative. However, they stated that is was not due to anything related to what they could fix {meaning the meter}. I called the Condo Association and they made attempts to find an after hours electrician. Mind you the heat and humidity for that day was about 92 degrees. I went to Angie's list, performed a search, called Wire Works, Inc and spoke with the gentleman. He stated that he would come within 30 minutes and he did. I showed him the problem and all was solved. He actually mentioned that he thought that the consumer's energy representative could have rectified the issue. Nevertheless, I had electricity and he indicated if any more problems occurred, he would be happy to come back.

We had an appointment for him to come out on the 14th but he had a big job that they kept adding more electrical work they wanted done so he asked if it was okay to reschedule.. Same thing happened on the 21st. Both times were fine with us as we were in no hurry. The third appt he showed up in time and completed the work. He also showed my husband some low voltage lights we could use for our deck. We were happy with his work and will have him come back to run the lines to our deck once we decide what exactly we want to do... It's a husband wife thing.. :)

We were very pleased with the work done by Tom and his apprentice. They came when they said they would and even called beforehand to let me know they were heading our way. They worked efficiently and did everything we wanted to have done. We would not hesitate to call on Tom again when problems arise. We also would be happy to recommend him to our family and friends.

Tom returned my call within a couple hours and was able to stop out that day. He was professional, friendly, and explained to my husband what he was doing. He was able to solve the problem and fix it on the spot. We consulted with Tom on a couple other possible projects while he was here; and he was informative and happy to answer our questions. We would most definitely recommend Wire Works and will use them again in the future.

I was headed out of town and my fridge started acting up. It had recently been moved when measuring floor for new vinyl so I assumed the problem had something to do with the move. Got on Angie's site and called Wireworks because of close proximity to house and positive reviews. He was really busy but promised to get to me ASAP, reminded me to plug the frdge into another nearby location to keep from losing contents. When he couldn't get to me by the end of the day he called and scheduled me for the next day. I was out of town so he worked with my son. Maintained good phone communications with both of us. Turned out the problem was the contact of the plug in the socket. He corrected the problem and didn't change me anything for the visit. Great learning opportunity. Yes, I would call Wireworks again in the future for other electrical issues.

great guy and true to his word. the only problem is he is popular and in-demand so you sometimes have to wait to get a quote or get work done, but it is worth the wait.

They knew what they were doing. They were knowledgeable about their subject matter. They seemed fine; they checked out the house and got it all written down.

Tom was very professional. He answered all the calls, set up an appointment on the first call, arrived on time, brought all the necessary parts with him, and finished the work within the estimated time. He also explained in detail what was wrong with our existing wiring and what he did to correct/mitigate it. His price was very fair and reasonable.

Tom was extremely accommodating, prompt, and understanding. He made arrangements to be available when my washer and dryer were scheduled to be delivered to make sure the outlet and plug matched. It was a good thing, because the dryer did not have the type of plug that the salesman had told me to plan for. Tom returned my phone calls promptly, answered all my questions, and gave me useful information and advice. The lights and outlets were not scheduled but Tom was very accommodating and installed them during the same visit.

Repaired all three items immediately if not sooner. Fast, efficient and offered tips on how to reduce calls to his service...was very impressed.

Called and left a voice mail. It took a day and a half to get a response. Got another company.

Found Tom on Angie's List and so glad I did. I called him last week, and he scheduled for first thing this morning. Arrived on time, only spent about an hour tearing old wires out and rewiring my ceiling fixture. Everything up and running for less than I thought I might have to pay.

Wireworks came over to diagnose an electrical problem in the house. Was able to confirm that there were no problems in the interior of the house so did not charge for the time spent diagnosing the problem. Very satisfied with the experience. Will continue to use this company for future electrical projects.

We had a lot of work done and were kept informed on the progress of the job at all times. The crew was punctual, came when they said they would, and were respectful of us and our home throughout the job. We were very pleased.

The work was done in a timely manner and all 3 new fans are working great. I would have them do work for me again and I would recommend them to friends and other people looking for electrical work.

Tom came out the same day I called him with eletric issues on a rental property I own. He quickly diagnosed the electric problem and assisted in the solution. I can see why his company was rated one of the highest in the lansing area on Angies list. I will call on Tom for future electrical needs.

Tom and his apprentice, Peter, installed a new electrical panel in my home. They did an outstanding job and the panel passed city inspection with flying colors. Both Tom and Peter were on time, professional and performed high quality work. The work was done in a timely manner and Tom was right spot on with his estimate. Since I am a retired electrician myself, I have high standards for electrical work. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again if I need electrical work.

We walked through everything I wanted to be completed. When I came home I noticed a few things that were not completed. Small things for instance installing a dimmer switch in the bathroom shower. We had called him and he said he was going to charge us to come down and install it. My immediate reaction was WHAT??? So to repeat this we had a verbal agreement on what was to be done he obviously forgot but he wants to charge me to come down and install a dimmer switch which he agreed to do originally. I was happy with most everything that was completed but for him to say he is going to come down and charge me for something he agreed to do is not right. If you are going to use this contractor make sure you have him sign off on the work to be completed or he may pull the same thing on you. I am hesitance on paying him because he did not finish the job but I guess I will go ahead and complete his job for him and send him the check to just avoid the headache. Ugh!!!! He was also very push on completing the job that day. He showed up at 7:30 am in the morning for a quote but was insistent on doing the job right now. So after speaking with him for about 45 minutes I felt comfortable with him and agreed for him to do the work. I just wished he would have completed the job.
