The actual work done was satisfactory. Other contractors on the job felt the plumbers did not clearly understand the scope of the project. A young technician was sent instead of the person who worked with us on the bid and had indicated would be providing the service. Arguments ensued with the two contractors and we were put in the middle of a he said/she said argument. We are not in the building industry and do not understand the details of this work. This contractor called us saying they felt the other contractor was unprofessional and didn't know what they were doing and the other contractor did the same. Completely unprofessional. We expected, since we did our research getting multiple bids with contractors who were members in the local home builders association, we would have the work handled professionally and not have to babysit grown men.

Not much to say. They arrived, replaced the part (which they had on the truck), re-lit the water heater, took my check and left....pretty much what I expected and wanted.

I only wanted to repair and they wanted to replace. They wanted to charge me $700. Their prices seemed excessive for what I needed done, so I didn't hire them.

It was wonderful, they were very good, they were very clean, it was very professional, they had a very good detailed design, we had a small leak and they came back and fixed it. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work and material used.

If the above issues weren't bad enough we had to have them back on probably more than 10 occasions to fix the things they screwed up while completing the job. Some examples of their poor workmanship include leaky fixtures, bad installations etc. They also hooked up all the outside water lines to the wrong meter which caused us to pay sewage on all the water that went into the outside. We paid over $1300 in sewage bills that we shouldn't have had to pay. They did come back to the home and tear out the ceiling in the basement to rerun the water lines to the right meter, but the whole job was screwed up from day one and still today we are having problems because of their shoddy work.

I contacted Meridian Plumbing on a Monday morning. After they verified it was not an emergency situation, they scheduled me for the next day and to my amazement the plumber was at my doorstep right on time! The same plumber that installed my hot water heater six months earlier was the one who came to handle the sump pump issues. He presented the options to me, we agreed upon what needed to be done, and he did the work. He was very neat in his work, pleasant, and professional. He even replaced a couple valves that were not part of the agreement, but he said it was easy to do while he was into this project. I appreciated his attention to wearing booties as he walked over the carpet from the basement to his truck. He also cleaned up very carefully after he was done. He tested everything and also demonstrated to me how to test the back-up pump periodically. While I believe Meridian Plumbing tends to be more expensive than other area plumbers, I appreciate the professionalism, my experience of their being on time to appointments, and the quality of the workmanship.

The toilet installation went well, but they are known for making up work to be done. I felt that they fabricated repairs in the estimate that they gave me for additional work to be done.

They came the same day we called to do the diagnosis and estimate. We were able to schedule the service the following business day (we were under tight time restraints.) They came promptly, explained things as they went, and were very friendly, yet professional. They protected the LR carpet and hallway with a protective sheeting. They also wore footies over their shoes to protect the surroundings. They cleaned up after themselves and removed all of the disgusting by-products. Also provided suggestions to prevent future problems. AND, shirts remained tucked in so no 'plumber's butt' exposure which I've suffered in the past.

M.P. was prompt and did a good, quick job fixing the problem. Seemed a little pricey, though.

I really like the fact, that they did not try to sell me any additional services ,that I did not need. They were very good. I had a good experience with them. They were overall very nice, reasonable and very good. They were also very clean.

The home I built is probably worth around $450,000. I can't begin to count all the things that they messed up. After we moved in we noticed under the kitchen sink they didn't tighten down a couple of faucets. They leaked all over the brand new cupboards. They have been permanently stained. This also happened in the master bath. Both water heaters leaked because they weren't tightened down as well, causing them both to rust. One has since had to be replaced at my cost (less than 6 months ago 2007). They quoted me $478.00 for just the part. I bought it from another plumbing company for $257.00. In Mason where I live we have two meters for water one is for internal and the external is for the hose connections. I have an in ground pool. Their workers ran all the external hose connectors through the wrong meter. We had to pay approximately $1250 more for sewage because of that mistake. The whole basement had to be redone to run the proper lines. Their response was "Oh well".

This was the third call to this company, very responsive with prices, materials and each time the personel coming to the house were helpful about not letting cats out and left the area clean.
