Excellent work and customer service

Perry and Perry got back to me right away with a reasonable quote. They told me when they could get it done, and did it within that time frame. They also got back to me quickly whenever I had a question. They did a very nice job of fixing my porch so that it really looks like new.

Excellent and conscientious work by a local, long-time, business owner who has learned the trade over 3 generations of masonry, foundation repair, basement waterproofing, concrete pouring/leveling experience. The on-site crew was friendly, prompt and very good about cleaning-up once the job was complete. The estimate and final cost were exactly the same price -- absolutely no surprises. I highly recommend this company to any homeowner who's seeking such work. If you're able to plan a few months ahead when scheduling a project and/or acquiring an estimate, please keep in mind that patience is a virtue. I was told up front that this crew was booked several months out with other projects. But since I was able and willing to wait, I have absolutely no regrets about doing so now. As is the case with any competent, skilled, quality construction business today, they are typically booked several months in advance because of the high demand for their services.

The work was done on a rental and they took care of everything over the phone. Quick to give an estimate and get the work done in a timely manner.

Salt & melt/thaw cycles had damaged the front stoop to my brick house beyond repair, so Perry & Perry came out, gave me an estimate, then went to a salvage yard in Detroit to find bricks which almost perfectly matched my original 1928 brickwork. They built a scaffolding, constructed the steps, then put on cement caps so the salt/ice wouldn't cause damage in the future. Really exceptional job--plus they are my neighbors & so was happy to throw some business their way.

The job went well and it has held so far. No complaints. Provider was a gentleman and knew his business.

They went above and beyond for this work. It took over three weeks to complete. We were provided with regular, detailed updates. They made some recommendations and suggestions during the process, all of which were thoughtful and helpful. The completed job looks just amazing - like an entirely new basement. The painting they did was way beyond adequate -- they included areas that required intensive cleaning and some repairs -- we are thrilled! The water/moisture repairs were "tested" by some very intense rain storms and came through with flying colors! I'm convinced that Perry & Perry are not only superlative contractors, but also completely trustworthy, honest people who take great pride in the work they do. I recommend them without reservation!

Prompt and timely. Did the work that we agreed on in the time we agreed on and for slightly less than accorded.

Extremely reliable, trustworthy - he really knew his stuff. We received multiple estimates - he is the only one that took his time to explain what was needed and why - walked us through the whole process. I highly recommend this company!

They were excellent. I watched their work on my home and they were very precise and exact. They did exactly what I wanted but I do not really know how to grade their pricing because I did not have three vendors bid on the same project. I would absolutely use their service again in the future.

The weather was bitterly cold that day, so Mr. Perry let me know they would start a little later in the morning than originally agreed. I was fine with this, as I was expecting them to reschedule altogether since the temp was predicted to remain below zero the entire day. They started at the expected time, finished early, and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I have been very satisfied with their work and have had no reason to call them back out. If I had another foundation repair to have made, I would gladly call Perry & Perry back out. During the original consult, Mr. Perry gave me a few suggestions for other concrete things that I had noticed.

He was great, and didn't charge me a thing.

It went pretty good. The guy came out himself and gave me good quote. It seemed pretty good and their pricing was good.

They raised and sealed a sinking portion of one of our outdoor patios. It took a while and some calls to confirm their service, but apparently because they were busier with bigger jobs. Otherwise, no problems and so far, my patio is holding up.

It turned out I didn't need masonry repair, rather the repair of the chimney cap. But, Perry & Perry responded promptly and followed up with a call telling what I needed. They were very nice. Would definitely consider them in the event I actually needed masonry work!

Great, even though he did not do any work, he was very professional

Scheduling was initially delayed by spring rains and I thought rescheduling could have done quicker. However, once the job was started they finished within two days - as quickly as they possibly could given the cement had to cure a day before the job could be finished. The crew was very professional and friendly and the finished job was exactly as bid plus a little more. A little more - they reset the railing and leveled and set the steps going to the porch. I would use them again. They were also willing to do this small job where as several others didn't submit a bid or submitted an extremely high bid.

Contacted John and he was out to review the job within a few days. On the day he performed the work he and his son arrived around noon and the finished the work in about 3 hours.

The estimate from Perry and Perry, Inc. was one of three that I solicited.. Their estimate and one other were in the same price range and both agreed on the method to solve my leaking foundation problem. Jon Perry quoted me a complete job that included some additional work to repair a basement window and replace with cement block and glass block. The other company did not and would have forced me to hire an additional person to repair the window area. Jon Perry and his crew were very efficient - starting the job on Wedensday of this week and had the work done by Thursday at 2 PM. He arranged for MISS DIG to also stake out the utilities as well as any permits. They checked the cement block for trapped water, checked and repair the drainage tile, including adding some new tile, sealed the wall with a rubberized coating and attached a stand-off barrier to keep the dirt away from destroying the integrety of the rubberized coating. They added new drainage pea stone, and then backfilled to leave a proper grade on both sides of the house. Their cleanup was excellent, and they protected plants on my property as well as my neighbors. This job was particularly tricky because they had to negotiate and dig around all of my gas, electric. telephone and cable fiber optic cable lines. They also had to content with a large tree and its root system. They were extremely careful with all of this and had no incidents. One can tell that his workers are well trained and were very respectful of my property and removed outdoor shoes whenever they entered the house to work on the wall on the inside. Even though Jon provided me with a quote for refinishing the inside wall, he was most willing to share information about products as well as techniques to use to do the work myself. He even provided me with some product to do some of the disinfecting to kill any possible mold. The job was just done and we have not had any rain to see how if the job was a success. I am certain that the job will be a success. The bottom line is that I recommend Perry and Perry, Inc. for any work that you need done related to basement waterproofing and masonry work. They treat your place as if it were their own. Thanks, Jon, Matt and your crew!

Overall it went well. Communication about the start date of the job could have been a bit better. I arrived home Monday night to find that they had already started setting up equipment for the next day. I had to take down wall of curtains that night which wasn't part of my evening plan.

They were excellent to work with. Very honest.

John Perry quoted my job at a price that was $100-$300 less than other estimates I received. His team arrived first thing in the morning, broke up the old sidewalk sections and dug out the remaining (enormous) tree root by hand. It was unseasonably hot, but the team worked through it, removing the old sections, cleaning up all debris, and pouring the new concrete by 3:00 that afternoon. John came the following morning to inspect the work and pick up the safety cones left to keep foot and bike traffic off the sidewalk while it dried. It was a positive experience, John was friendly and professional, and I would do business with his company again.

I was very pleased with Perry & Perry. They did what they said the were going to do and they did it when they said they were going to doit. Although I had to wait to get on their list because they are in high demand, it was worth the wait. They went out of their way to replace the rotted joist that wasn't originally suppose to be as big of a problem as it developed into. They handeled it well and were very courteous and efficient. I wouldn't hestitate to use them again or recommend them to somebody else. Thanks Jon!

I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for brick and masonry work. Their work is very impressive, and their prices are fair. On top of that, their communication is excellent, and they went out of their way to fit us in early, rather than make us wait when an unplanned event occurred on their end.

Showed up on time, did the work as discussed and charged what he quoted (even though he had to make a couple of trips to get some supplies for extra work I had him do. I highly recommend them.
