CARPET GUY AND GAL

This installer doesn't do a very good job of returning phone calls. They are late to appointments and do not estimate the time needed to complete the job very well. After the work was complete, I asked for a receipt and the installer wrote the information down on a piece of paper. I texted the owner asking for a formal receipt twice. Both times he told me he would email the receipt, but never sent it.

It went great, they cleaned up everything and hauled out all of the debris after the tear out. The installation went good, they arrived at my home when they said they would and my floors look nice. I'm getting ready to call them again to the upper level of my house now. I appreciate the dependability factor since I took time away from work to meet them at the house. So, their being on time is a big plus in my book.

I had high hopes based on the other reviews for this provider as well as a personal recommendation. I called & left a message on 09/29/15 and another one on 10/01/15. I finally received a return call on 10/05/15. The caller apologized and said he had been sick. That's understandable. I told him that work on this project had already been scheduled with another installer and I'd contact him for future jobs. I called again on 10/15/15 for a different project. My call was returned 10/17/15 and installation scheduled for 10/23/15. The installer did not show up or call on 10/23/15. I haven't heard from them since. It looks like they do very nice work, but unfortunately may be a little too busy to maintain good customer service.

Young Tim (jr) removed carpeting and padding in one of our larger rooms with an assistant. They worked quickly and efficiently and did the job well. They hauled away the debris and cleaned up too. Tim came back a week later (my preferred schedule) to install new carpeting after I had the opportunity to do some work myself on the floor. They communicated well (phone and text messaging) regarding the work time and arrived on schedule. The work was well done. No problems. They seemed like nice folks - friendly and polite, responsive to my requests, and with a fair price for the work done. I would gladly have them do work for me again. T

CARPET GUY worked out really good and their price was good.
