"I contacted Greenscape AND PAID before summer 2019. Kept getting postponed. Didn't sprinkle grass seed until October. Was all washed away with rain. They promised to plant Butter Bur did not have enough to fulfill what was promised. The area had very, very few plants. When I complained they came out the following year and sprinkled VERY FEW grass seeds - very few germinated. I was extremely disappointed in the job that was done and have tried repeatedly to discuss a remedy. First text was answered with the nasty comment that I was the worst customer they ever had. Now they refuse to answer my texts or phone calls. Just giving everyone a warning here. Contemplating Better Business Bureau."

Thank you for your interest in Schafer Landscaping! I have a degree in landscape architecture from Michigan State University. I am new to the West Michigan area and when I bought my home here in the fall of 2020 I began laying the groundwork to start my own landscaping business. Design and construction has always been a passion of mine. Although I'm new to the area, landscape design and construction is something I have been doing for over 10 years since I graduated from MSU in 2008. What can I design or build for you?!
"Do not Hire him !! Does not do what you ask to have done.. Does not listen !!Took a week n more to do it. Did not order the correct rocks !! Would not redo it. Stood around Talking on his phone should have been doing his job.. Had someone else do it in 3 days .. A lot better complements on new rock wall than Schafer Landscaping wall. Heck of a lot better work than Aj. If I could give zero stars I surely would. I paid AJ 4900 job did not get completed and then I paid another company 3500 to do it correctly like the city wanted it to be done!"
