Good quoted price, poor service. I have dealt with many contractors. Most are scam artists. Most will be extremely friendly and attentive, but that all changes once the get your money. Once I presented Mark with a "real" contract with attention to detail, he disappeared. From my past experience, I have found that if a contractor does not want to agree to a real contract with details, do not use them. Look up their license number on the State website. MidWest Pole Barns has many violations, and was not worth the risk.

Before signing the contract things went very well. Calls were returned promptly, cost were fair, and a completion date was good. Once the contract was signed, the time to build date changed. We were told that it wouldn't be done until Memorial Day. We signed the contract in March. The didn't start when they said they would and tried to cut corners. They came out and dug holes on May 31 2012 and left said they would be back May 29 2012, they didn't show. We did not find out until the night of May 30 2012, we live 65 miles one way from there. We called, and Midwest pole barns owner Mark told us they would be there the next day. Mark could not tell us why they were not there when they said. The next day they set poles and left. Then they came back with three inexperienced workers on June 4 2012. They are supposed to complete the project June 15th 2012, but we doubt that will be the case.
