I had high hopes that Mike at RJP Construction would work out well. Work was performed and seemed to be going as planned. On the second day of construction, Mike called asking for his payment. I hand delivered it, assuming the work was complete or almost complete. After receiving the check, Mike left the job site. His workers continued to work. The job is yet to be complete as the finish work is not skim coated. Attention to detail was not impressive as the new steps were poured in different locations than what was removed and was not an improvement to the original location. The concrete was poured, leaving the handrail "crooked". Overall, very poor attention to detail and no customer service or communication. After paying $3,000 to Mike, I have not heard from him. I have left numerous voicemails and emails. This is truly unfortunate. Paying money for a job that is not complete is not good for either party.
