Description of Work: This service was overpriced. They didn't edge the carpets or shine the sink on the first visit. When I came home from work I was very disappointed and called to tell the owner that I didn't think that they did a decent job. At first she argued with me and said that they spend even more time then they had originally planned on and that they had estimated wrong in the first place, but I explained that I would have at least expected that the cobwebs would be cleaned. The owner was surprized and did send the crew over again for another 2 hours. I did appreciate the owner trying to make it right, but I think the crew itself is sub-par and the price for the service sets expectations pretty

house cleaning
 + -1 moreWe hired the Cleaning Goddesses at the recommendation of our Realtor because we needed the house in top condition for showings. After a few less than stellar cleanings, we realized that they had stolen $5000 in cash and two necklaces. When we asked the police to investigate (Washetenaw County Sheriff Case Number CR No. 120020406), the report came back stating that Cleaning Goddesses owner, Melissa Duey had informed the police that one of her employees, "Had previously stolen from a customer and was changed with larceny in October 2011," and "later hired her back in January 2012." The Cleaning Goddesses had the audacity to then send us an invoice after being told by the police that their services were no longer needed and have not returned our calls.
