Description of Work: We had Dexter Cabinet remove and replace our kitchen countertop, sink, and faucet. They also fabricated a window sill out of the same material (quartz) and helped machine some new cabinet hinge pockets. We bought a style of the Cambria counter line - which we very highly recommend. It's absolutely beautiful. Dexter Cabinet had the Cambria people come out to measure everything, and they also did the actual installation. All was done very professionally. They also arranged for us to go up to the Cambria manufacturing facility to see larger samples of the counter material. I can't recommend Dexter Cabinet and Countertop highly enough.

Description of Work: The demolition team removed the old countertops, sink, garbage disposal. The countertop team installed the sink, faucet, soap dispenser, and countertops. The plumbing team hooked up the sink and disposal. Every team was well coordinated as far as their timing was concerned.

+ -1 moreThey were very good. I had to keep reminding him about things, nothing major, but getting a quote and correcting it. The work eventually got done and it went very smooth. It went quickly without much of a mess. They were always here when they said they would be. They did good work. The only thing is if I didn't keep calling back to get things, even samples, I wouldn't have gotten the best price and would have paid too much for things. Once I mentioned something they were on it and it was done. I think it just may have been Spring time and they were swamped. I would recommend them and have.

They framed a mirror for me in the bathroom. They did a great job for me. They were very professional. They did a beautiful work. I have no complaints. They got what I needed. It looked great when they were finished.
Description of Work: I used the services of Dexter Cabinet & Countertop for carpentry. I last used them in July 2011.

+ 1 moreCan't say enough good things about Dexter Cabinets and the whole crew - punctual, professional, respectful, friendly. Shop employees were very helpful. All contracted employees were very skilled and left the house clean/tidy in-between visits. Ron did wonders refacing and sanding our old cabinets - they look brand-new. Tim had many valuable suggestions for making the job affordable...we never felt like 2nd class clients (not the case with other businesses when the words "we have a budget" came up.) We also felt 100% comfortable leaving the guys at the house when my husband and I were at work, everything was done above and beyond our expectations. Kitchen looks really beautiful! We'll post some pics as soon as the back-splash is tiled.
Description of Work: Dexter C&C refaced our worn/grungy and terrible looking (yet structurally sound) 1950s birch cabinets, made all-new drawers, installed new hardware, rails, and pulls, replaced our hideous 1950s Formica counter top with gorgeous Cambria Quartz, made and installed a 6' custom shelf, installed a new vent-fan, and scheduled all work that required a plumber or electrician (new gas line and cooktop install, new lights and switches, and sink/faucet install.)

Description of Work: Tim Young is an outstanding professional that saved me LOTS of money with his excellent suggestions as well as providing me the names of a terrific ceramic tile installer, painter. plumbers and carpenter! I am delighted with the results and would definitely recommend Dexter Cabinets! I had my cabinets painted, old ceramic tile removed and new laid, painted kitchen, added molding, ew sink/cabinet in laundry room, new countertop in bathroom, polished my Corian countertops in kitchen and installed new sink in kitchen! Tim also cut down and framed a mirror in my bathroom which is gorgeous! I will continue to use the services of ALL the men who worked on my house! It is gorgeous! Thank you Dexter Cabinet and the rest of the talented people who spent time at my house this summer!

+ 1 moreThey did not have the color of the wood that I wanted which is why I did not go with them. They were excellent. They were willing to work with me and if they had the right color wood, I would have gone with them. They seemed to be very knowledgeable.

+ 0 moreIt was great overall. They removed our old pedestal sink and installed as above. After that installation was done, a plumber (Dan Corrolls Plumbing, Chris Corroll) arrived and hooked the necessary plumbing. He also was very efficient. His cost was $92 (included in the total cost).
Description of Work: Cabinet and countertop installation in our half bath. The cost is higher because our countertop is a coved vanity backsplash. They removed and disposed of existing sink.

+ -1 moreThey did work that no one else would do for me and I appreciate how well they did it. I had a 6 by 3 foot mirror resting on the old countertop and two other companies said I would have to have it removed prior to them doing anything because they would not touch the mirror. When Dexter came they removed it very carefully and replaced it when they were done with no problems. They were also a lot lower in price than other companies I called. They are real professional and know what they are doing. They are a real class act and they cleared up very well when finished.
Description of Work: He installed a new 7 foot by 24 inch Corian countertop in my bathroom. They also mounted the sinks and it came with a cove backsplash. They also removed the old counter and took it away.
